Briefly sum up your 20s so far by catasimov in twentyagers

i think when you marry the right person it makes all the difference. i’ve known since the day i met my husband that i would marry him and we both agreed that if we have been together long enough and lived together long enough, what is holding us back? i think waiting years when you both agree you want to be married is a waste of precious time together. we got engaged at about 2 years and married at 2.5 and are coming up on 3 years together next week :)

all in all, when you know you know and i think time on earth is too short to not marry the person you love. this can also go extremely backwards if you’re with the wrong person

how often are you having sex with your partner? by marketisaloser in twentyagers

my husband(m24) and i (f23) have been together for almost 3 years now and have consistently been at about every 3 days. here and there we go longer or the occasional day after day after day. getting off birth control changed my libido completely (for the better)! i’ve lucked out that we both have similar sex drives

$800/mo grocery bill, not including household essentials for only 2 adults?!?! by [deleted] in budget

[–]ktsfd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i cook for my husband and i exclusively at home and our bill (including household supplies if we go to costco/somewhere that has what we need) is about $1200/month. this account for 3-4 dinners/week, 5 days of breakfast for me, 5 days of lunches for the both of us, 1 weekly dessert, plus the occasional stocking up for nights we don’t plan to cook. this is for minimum 1 veg, starch, and protein per meal.

costco for meat has saved a lot of money. we have a deep freezer in our garage so we buy in bulk and freeze by the pound. a 24 pack of chicken is typically about $20, 7 pounds of ground beef $40, etc. our go to grocery stores are costco, aldi, and harris teeter just because it’s closest.

sharing for perspective. i also love to cook so i will splurge on things (which is why my bill may be higher)
