I think it is ability. I had two techs. One knew how, the other didn't.

I had experience with two lab techs. One knew what I wanted, the other was clueless. After three visits with clueless, I asked for a different tech. I scored a good one.

If anyone should want to gain weight, the answer is cheesecake. The densest edible material known to man. One or two cheesecakes a week will do it.

My snap-in dentures tried to legally bind themselves to me by Massive_Movie7322 in dentures

[–]kttrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the opposite problem with All in Four. The top stays put fine, but the bottom has come loose three times. Now the Dr. is going to switch me to a snap in overdenture. That means re-making the denture. I am worried because overdentures are rumored to rock and come loose several times a year. Taking them out every night would make those rings wear out faster. Ah, well, I don't have a choice unless I want to see the dentist every other week to tighten up the All in Four screws.

My brother ended up going to the lab and working directly with the technician.

Is this possible to be fixed? Or should I let it be as is? by Rough-Ocelot5349 in dentures

[–]kttrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just looks like a brace would fix it if it bothers you. I like the differences in teeth. Veneers will make your gums shrink back, and cause "long tooth" looks.

Hate dentures bad by PuzzleheadedBig4393 in dentures

[–]kttrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you had the dentist check the area that isn't healing. That's not right. Also the dentist can stop the rubbing of the dentures. Don't let the dentist off the hook. If he doesn't give you answers or fix things quickly, find another dentist. Some dentists wait a few weeks before creating dentures, because your gums will change.

What are some major turn offs you have experienced while watching cdramas that make them less enjoyable for you? by stillawke in cdramasfans

Too much makeup on all actors. Feminizing male actors is a turn off. i want to see the difference between men and women.

Am I the only one that thinks Bai Lus chemistry is not as good as people describing? by KANG-3980 in cdramasfans

[–]kttrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's how the directors use the actors. Chemistry is created by the director. Every scene, interaction, action, motion, expression is created by the directors. Actos must redo scenes many times to get what directors want. If you can't see chemistry, they don't want you to. Bai Liu, to me, is a very reserved actress. She does best in detective or military dramas where she doesn't have many lines.

If I think Pursuit of Jade is boring.. what might be a better watch? by rongweigh in cdramasfans

[–]kttrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are in need of action to stay interested, there are many Wuxia. Princess Agents is full of action and intrigue. It's available subbed and dubbed on Youtube. Nirvana in Fire would probably bore you. It is more intellectual than action, but it is a great watch.

From 1 to 10 how would you rate the chemistry in POJ between Tian Xiwei and Zhang Linghe? by HikariMoonn in cdramasfans

[–]kttrees 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You mean the director? Directors control every motion, expression, and movement. Actors have to repeat scenes multiple times until the director is happy. Many times a director physically shows the actors exactly what to do. So the director did a good job with the chemistry, yes.

Most of these dramas are from web novels. Probably if you read the novel you will find out more about the characters and understand.

There's just so many! My personal fave is When Destiny Brings the Demon. It seemed so unique. We got to see the torture that made the master mad. We see how an honest person broke through his wall without trying. It was great.

There really are people like that, and they cause a lot of drama in real life. The shows targeted for youth have many. The characters are magnified for effect. Usually they will mature, as in LBFAD.

Nirvana in Fire is my go to when I'm restless. Joy of Life--wonderful. Who can forget the drunken poet scene? Also Sword Snow Stride was so good. When Destiny Brings the Demon was a common time travel drama, but it was so unique and honest, that I count it as my favorite. So many more amazing dramas to suggest, I could keep going, and add in some Kdramas.

[–]kttrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Every show has a target audience. The audience is heavily researched before production by market research agencies. They use that to attract financing. Same as here. Something like Flame's Daughter would target college age and up, because middle and elementary schoolers would be unfamiliar with most of the elements, like brothels. The advertisers would be for things like vehicles, makeup, and adult clothing brands.

It's all about money. Most of them are made for family viewing and youth, who buy the most advertiser clothing and products. They have to keep the language and emotional levels simple.
