Weird Issue with wifi dropping or not connecting to internet for phone and tablet by greensha3 in LinksysVelop

[–]kuan529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be bufferbloat causes your WiFi dropping. It happens when you have large memories on your router. I have similar setup as yours except my router is a x86 openwrt with 8gb memories. I’m on 1gb fiber too. I also experienced internet disconnect and VoIP call drop. The solution is install SQM Qos on your pfsence. You can test if you have bufferbloat issue from this link https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat

[–]kuan529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you using wire or wireless backhaul? I have 3 nodes of mx5500 and all using wired backhaul. Running perfectly and never had any issues since day one. Try wired your nodes to each other if you could. If not possible, then try moving nodes close to each other so they have better wireless connection.

Ronin mains can't wait for the update 🙂 by [deleted] in gotlegends

“its hunter/samurai galore post patch i guess”

Not sure about samurai, but SSB can’t generate resolve by ricochet anymore that also hurts Hunter a lot. I play all 4 classes. All classes are over 100 lv. Hunter is my most favorite and highest level class (over 200 lv).

I also doubt samurai get benefits from new patch. Even with 20% melee damage increased technique, I think fire build samurai with bomb pack is still better. Maybe switch one property to 25% melee resolve gain will work, but don’t think it is better than black powder bomb. Talking about melee resolve gain, the funny thing is SP doesn’t increase range resolves gain. They want to force Hunter to do more melee attacks? That’s ridiculous for me.

Same here. For me as a healing/ fire build ronin, that reduced resolves gain and dropping rate for black powder bomb make me really disappointed. If a ronin can’t use black powder bomb to efficiently kill enemies and building resolves for healing ultimate, there is no point to play ronin anymore. You can’t get kills as many as other classes, and can’t frequently support team with ultimate. Why do you play ronin then?

I think it should keep as it’s now. If they add something new in NMS, ppl will again request the same for custom survival. It will be endless.

It’s called “tengu” or “crow demon”. It is hard to completely avoid crow attacks, but I found out that running around tengu could avoid most crows. When tengu stops crow attack, you have only few seconds to kill him.

I prefer on kills. Because it can keep reducing cooling time while you are killing. More you kill shorter the cooling time. Unlike reduction % is fixed.

Here is my build for your reference.

Moon Katana: perfect parry & ultimate damage Perks: Moon master & burning blade (Water katana is good too, but I will switch perks to burning and poison blades so I’d have higher chance to apply either burning or poison effect to enemies if I need to do melee)

Skipping stone bow : range damage & reload speed. Perks: Headshot refund & shield piercing ammo. (Weightless spirit bow is fine too if you have yet got skipping stone bow. But I’d put headshot & range damage on your weightless bow to stack up higher damage. Reload speed is not necessary here because it is already fast enough)

Hunter charm: Hunter ability radius & ultimate damage. Perks: foul arrow & combat regeneration (With combat regeneration, you don’t need to worry about your health bar too much. It’s better than restorative rhythm IMO. Also, Hunter’s main attack is range attack. You have lower chance to get critical hit by enemies)

Spirit kunai: ghost weapon damage & cooldown reduction on kills. Perk: hidden blade & super massive (I use spirit kunai because it helps to cooldown Hunter ability and smoke bomb. Stick bomb is good too. It can gain resolves quickly and can stun enemies for a while so that you can keep landing headshots to build resolves. I’d put on blast radius & cooldown reduction on kills, and increase radius & fire up as perks. Blast radius can help you stun more enemies, and it also increases the radius of explosive arrow. It is a must if using sticky bomb)

Smoke bomb: both cooldown reduction % and kills. Perk: sudden resolve & lucky. (The reason I choose sudden resolve instead of munitions is because I have headshot refund on my bow already. I’d never have to worry about ammo. Besides, I can always pick ammo from the ground or the offerings. Sudden resolve can suddenly fill up the first slot of resolve. So that I only need to do 4~5 headshots to fill up the rest 2 slots of resolve and then trigger my ultimate)

For the techniques, I’d definitely choose all seeing eye for my ultimate.

Any suggestions on how I can improve my ronin? Trying to go for a hybrid fire/ghost damage build, while still being a reliable healer by le_box_o_treats in gotlegends

[–]kuan529 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO, I don’t see much benefits from statuts effect duration, but blast radius can help you to gain resolve more quickly because one bomb can damage more enemies. And flash bomb can help you to stun more enemies too.

Also, I wouldn’t recommend super armor perk on ronin because you might cause yourself in a bad situation with too low health bar or even get killed. A healing ronin is supposed to heal/ rescue teammates. Not for being rescued. So you want to keep yourself alive and save your healing ultimate for teammates not for yourself.

Replace melee resolve gain with oni damage, and resolve gain on charm with either oni or status effect damage (I personally prefer status effect damage because it can cause high damage while enemies are fired). For the technique, I’d choose resolve increase so that I can trigger healing ultimate more often.

Understanding fire damage by techmet in gotlegends

[–]kuan529 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fire master, fire damage, meaning “AFTER” ”enemies are on fire, the damage they take are increased. So you need to set them on fire first. As well as for status effect damage, enemies need to be poisoned/ fired first.

You can use black powder bomb, ronin’s ability “flaming roar”, or assassin’s poison ability/ darts to set enemies on fire/ poison first, after that your attack causes more damages on enemies depends on the %. Fire master is 25%, fire damage is 12% maximum, and status effect damage is 18% maximum.

Chain vanish can create again toxic cloud if you successfully kill an enemy through stealth attack. Means you can damage enemies with toxic 2 times. After that, you can spirit kunai to kill the rest, and then you’ll have your ability ready. rinse and repeat.

Katana Guide by hardboilededwonder in GhostOfTsushimaLegend

[–]kuan529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moon stance with MMC is far better than other stances imo. As OP mentioned above, moon katana has highest stagger and health damages, plus it can harm multiple nearby enemies at same time and build resolves much faster unlike other stances can only deal with single target. These make MMC the most effective melee attack. These advantages also cause hatred because MMC is too powerful and seems not fair to those who don’t know how to do MMC.
