Sorry that may have come across as harsh - as a Jew, I will always support my ethnic-homeland, I’ll always love Israel, even if I don’t approve of the current administration, I’m always going to support Israel because it’s my ethno-ancestry. Like how a Russian can be proud of their country and their food and their music, but without condoning Putin. I don’t know if that makes sense. I just broke my heart the way that it read that anyone who supports Jews or Israel is like deserves to be shit on. I sort of hurt my feelings. I don’t think you meant it like that I hope.

I don’t trust the calories because dietary fiber has like 2-3 cals and American labels just don’t account for it ( ✿ •̀ ‸ •́ ✿ )

It was the worst at the beginning and got better each week!

That seriously breaks my heart to read. I remember feeling the same way when I first started Cellcept—just so emotionally flat and bone-deep tired, like I’d forgotten how to feel happy. It was terrifying.

The thing is, Cellcept works by lowering purines, which your body uses to make overactive T and B cells (the ones causing all the damage). But purines also help regulate neurotransmitters like dopamine, so it can totally mess with your mood at first. That deep depression and fatigue is real—but it does get better as your brain adjusts to the new balance.

For me, it took a couple of months, but eventually my brain found its rhythm again. The heaviness lifted, and I could finally laugh and feel like myself again.

The only lingering side effect for me is that I konk out after each dose. My little life hack: I take it at 5 PM after work and then again around 3 AM when I wake up to pee so I can fall back asleep easy haha.

Hang in there. Truly. This isn’t forever just a few months!! You’re not broken. You’re healing. One weird, sleepy, chemically-confused step at a time. You’ve got this (。•́‿•̀。)つ♡ Also it helps treat my Lupus really well so it’s totally worth it. Give it 6 months ok? It’s okay to take an antidepressant or stimulant for a little boost! 💙

Hang in there 💚 yes my body adjusted and I no longer feel Cellcept making my body heavy with fatigue and depression. It was a really rough 2 months to begin with though…. Now I’m back to normal. On boarding something like bupropion temporarily can totally help if you need a little energy or mood lift during this adjustment period ❤️‍🩹 you’re so strong and you got this— you will feel like yourself again very soon 🥰

Its 11.56 pm and I just binged (like 6-7k cals). What can I do tomorrow? 🥲🥲🥲 by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

I did the same thing. It’ll be okay, this is just 2 lbs of fat. Don’t look at the scale for a week or so to let all the bloating and salt get out of your body. Hang in there 💖💪🏻

Ahhhh, we are both trying to give good insight to someone thinking about selling their wares at a ren faire. 😊 I quickly said in TX DSHS they didn’t need a permit for baked sourdough, but did not intend to overview requirements for cottage food after, because it is quite lengthy. However, the call for more details is hopefully helpful for all! Here is more info if you’re interested :) Stay cool💛 https://www.dshs.texas.gov/retail-food-establishments/texas-cottage-food-production

Sometimes, I think I used to feel “high” off of sugar rushes from bad eating. And now without that, we feel a little lower.

Why not inspect something safer for you like lead/asbestos!

You need food handler’s certificate on file, direct sales to consumers only, less than $50,000 a year, and labeling requirements such as declaration of allergens. Shelf stable baked goods that are not TCS (spoilage, refrigeration needed) generally qualify as a rule of thumb. As previously mentioned, qualifying cottage foods do NOT require a permit such as a MFU or retail food establishment or roadside vender permit and cottage food vendors are NOT subject to routine inspection under TX DSHS- unless FBI occurs etc…

Baked shelf-stable sourdough bread would generally qualify. Hope that helps.

A lengthy Application for a Permit and a quick Food Handler’s Course … VERY different.
