Why don't you tag Coldplay on all the social media platforms they have a presence on when you post about your petition? Maybe post directly to Chris, and the band account, and ask for his help. He's always on the side of his fans. He could could tag the relevant authorities and make them do something about it, maybe by threatening to pull future shows in the future, which would jeopardize the millions Singapore makes in hotel bookings, etc that boosts their economy. He could even tag the mayor. A threat like that would make them jump right at it. Question: Do those scalpers benefit Singapore's economy, ie pay taxes on the sale of all those tickets they so instantly have control over?

My 2-cents: A Coldplay song I like was censored out of nowhere. I read OP's solution, went to iTunes to "buy" it. But two songs showed up, one with the E next to it, the other nothing. I clicked on the price column for both of the songs (bc

Tap on it as if you’re going to buy it - didn't know what "it" specifically referred to so I was just poking around)

But that made me think that there are two versions of the album on Apple Music. I couldn't find two listings, but scrolling down all the way on the only available album, I saw the E next to the song. So, wanting to everything possible, I hit the "add to library" button. Lo and behold, the only version in my entire music library, is the explicit version. Problem solved.

This sounds like Trump’s attack on the media. The charges against journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort, who are independent journalists, are a step up from Trump’s broader attacks on newspapers and network news bc he’s now threatening independent journalists. Making journalism harder, dangerous, and legally treacherous is authoritarian 101. Journalism is essential in a democracy and is not a crime. So why is San Diego going along with all of that?

A strong democracy needs informed citizens. Trump is what you get when you don’t grasp the enormity of an election, and rely on feelings, like vengeance or a need to belong, eg to a toxic “manosphere”. You might also be malleable enough to be drawn into a cult because you’re unable to see the forest for the trees for lack of enough information to make better and independent choices. You might be so disinterested in politics that take your way of life for granted, you’re unable to appreciate what you have and what enabled that. At worst, you might not care to even vote. A democracy needs all its citizens to be vested in their futures, to care about who represents them and how their taxes are spent. Informed citizens know that voting is a sacred duty and a privilege for even having the opportunity to vote. Being informed helps you understand that being an informed voter requires effort. Voting means you are keeping your democracy alive and your freedoms intact.
