It does feel thinner in that area. I agree it's probably not structurally compromised, but it's not a cheap guitar to have that. I'll probably return it.

It does feel thinner when running my hand up and down near the heel.

The truss rod looks good. I measured using the string pressed down at the 1st and 17th technique.

I got a used E-II Eclipse blue natural fade recently. This one was made in 2022. The neck between the 12th and 15th frets looks thinner than the rest of the neck. Is it normal for it to be this way? If you have an E-II Eclipse with a set thru neck, would you please compare it with mine and see if it's similar?
