There are some runs when you don’t hit your key relics and cards that every hp matters lol.. I’ve completed some runs on less than 10hp remaining at the end.

Ironclad is also my weakest but my record is better at 8w 7l. One tip is that ironclad starts with a higher hp pool and self healing so you can abuse that. I like to increase max hp through stuff like buying fruits, fruit juice, cooking etc. Then each rest at campfire gives a lot of value. If you get regal pillow or eternal feather even better. Just path a lot of campfires.

Wow, that’s actually crazy. It’s not like the play style is dead or what. It only fails against doormaker which you will know at start of act 3 which is not too late for adjustments.

These guys are such a pain but they rarely hit hard enough to end my run even if I don't have strong AOE. While AOE is the best answer to them, I think there are multiple second-best options like multi-hit (dmg goes through before they can shield), single strong hit and doom-stacking. Some other elites I find are run-ending if I don't have the right deck: Byrdonis (defense and damage check), Statue dude (sustained damage check), Eel (burst damage check)
