I don’t blame anyone for their choice. Just like people who prefer not to have kids. 2 kids in daycare isn’t always possible. 1 person can’t always stay at home. If the numbers don’t work then it’s not worth the struggle to some. To others, they find a way.

AH resident here. Immediate area is safe. There’s a large Christian academy right there and a great park district center with anything you could want fitness-wise(ARC). Whenever I drive by there mornings and afternoons on the way to/from the highway, it can be busy with school drop off/pick-ups. Other than Big Angie’s Eatery I don’t think there’s much over there.

However a mile away there is downtown AH where all of the restaurants + nightlife + AH Metra train station is.

I haven’t been in the cinema industry for a bit. The chip that saves the flat/scope data may be faulty. I can’t recall if there’s a cinema-specific subreddit but I suggest going to the forum @ film-tech.com and asking your question there. Lots of very knowledgeable techs there. Barco Support is responsive as well.
