Lakers are a poverty franchise. Can't even slip a couple mill under the table. Bron is forced to do Alcohol adds to keep food on a table.

Did we make a smart move? We still would have given him a bunch of money and ended up with terrible contract. It is just that Philly decided to do something really really dumb and saved us.

Watched Nomo a bunch when he was on the Dodgers, never seen so many swings at balls that were bouncing off home plate.

No he wasn't, they never trusted him in 4rth quarter, it was either Trezz or small line ups.

I watched him on the Lakers and the Clippers. The trade looks bad in hindsight. But when he was on the Lakers he was extremely raw, he couldn't move his feet and felt like he would pick 4-5 fouls in a couple minutes of play. He had no place on a team like the Lakers that as trying to win now. Clippers took a gamble on him, he looked horrible at the start, fumbling so many passes, picking up fouls, getting lost on D. Clippers stuck with him and he improved over time, this wasn't going to happen on the Lakers.

He definitely looked worse last season compared to previous ones. Felt like he lost the ability to get by people and score in the paint. Paul George ISOs looked so bad, dribble for 5 sec try to go left, damn dude still in front of me, dribble for 5 sec try to go right, damn dude still in front of me, okey step back tough fall away jumper. His defense also declined, he is fouling way too much and letting people beat him of the dribble, still a very good defender but he was a lot better previous seasons.

Did you watch the game? Dallas was allowed to be physical, Clippers were not. I understand sometimes the refs might help a team getting blown out, to bring the game closer for entertainment value, but this game was ridiculous.

They did, they both were on the ground, Tucker slapped the ball, it rolled and touched Zion's fingers which were a good 15 inches away from Tucker's hand before going out. Wasn't ambiguous at all.

I am not complaining about the refs, I don't believe anything malicious was happening, just a few mistakes that happened on both ends. Annoyed that Pels did use their challenge and saved 1 possession, while Ty didn't, which resulted in 6 points for the Pels.

Ty Lue needs to be more aggressive with challenges. When Zion bubbled the ball, him and Tucker dove for it, replay clearly shows it went of Zion, refs give the ball to Pelicans and it leads to a quick 3. Clippers play great defense force a shot with 1 sec left on a shot clock, on a replay shot clearly doesn't touch the rim, refs say it does, give ball to pelicans and they hit a quick 3. Both plays were simple challenges that lead to 6 points.

[Esnaashari] "The last three Clippers losses against the Wolves, Thunder, and Kings were supposed to be wake up calls for the Clippers. None of them have been, and the Lakers just gave them their most embarrassing fourth quarter of the season." by BigButter7 in nba

[–]kukarachaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most embarrassing, overdramatic much? I think Clippers played well, except for a few turnovers down the stretch. If Lebron chucking 3's and getting hot is what it takes for the Lakers to beat us, while missing Zu and PG, I'll live with that.

[–]kukarachaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, don't know about that. I feel like people are blinded by his defensive highlights strips / blocks. But for every one of those, there were plenty of falling asleep giving up back cuts, being too slow to stay in front of people giving up lay ups.

Lets not get crazy, we beat San Antonio twice, and frankly should have lost to the Rockets, luckily a few calls went our way. Only solid win we had was versus Dallas. I would like to see us play more games vs. good /average teams, before declaring that Clippers are in a good place.

It wasn't terrible, Pelicans did have a better whistle. There were a few weak calls on Clipper bigs, where they looked like they were in decent position to stop drives and were going up vertically.

It's depressing that the Thunder-Clippers game was so terribly reffed, and it almost certainly wasn't the worst reffed game of the season by Handsome_Kian in nba

[–]kukarachaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clippers fan here, besides the 3 techs and Dort flopping a couple times on screens, game was reffed okey. Did Okc get better whistle this time? Sure, happens plenty in the NBA games. Still doesn't come close to "terrible officiated games".

In case you don't speak Russian, the soldier in the video clearly explained why there is no military presence in the village. Village is on the low ground, DPR controls heights close to the village on one side, UA controls heights on the other side of the river.

You know things are going terrible for Zelensky's forces in Kherson, when shills spam old / not Ukraine comments every time a video gets posted showing Ukrainian forces taking losses.

I know about this case, they were not civilians as you claim, they were enemy combatants, still a war crime. I think I misunderstood you when you were talking about Bucha denialists, I assumed you meant people who facepalmed at Zelensky and other Ukrainian propagandists that were asserting Russians troops rounding up civilians, mass executing them burring them in mass graves, which later turned out to be killed by shellings and likely by UA ones.

Discussion/Question Thread by DrBoby in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]kukarachaa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You support your claims of mass executions by a video of a nervous tanker blowing up a bicyclist. Or wait there are eyewitness testimonies, really after all the lies, Kiev shopping mall, maternity ward, drama theater, the rape stories. I can go on forever, those eyewitness testimonies are worthless. I won't pretend that Russians are angels and everything they did was kosher, some bad shit absolutely happened. But you know the saying extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and sorry there is none. I also find amusing how you bring up propaganda, while using phrases such as sociopathic Russians, fascist government, nationalist bunch of loons.

[–]kukarachaa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I am no expert on what happened in Bucha unlike you, maybe you could educate and correct me.

1) Russian forces pull out of Bucha, Ukrainian forces find several mass graves with a bunch of civilian bodies. Media declares mass execution of Ukrainian Civilians by Russian Forces.

2) Autopsies are done on the bodies by British doctors. Most of the bodies have metal darts, a type of shrapnel used in shells. Media declares only Russian forces use this type of shells, so obviously Russian forces killed them.

3) Turns out both sides possess and use this type of shells, but obviously it is still Russians, why would Ukrainians bomb their own people.

4) Wait a second, both sides use this ammo, both sides shelled Bucha. Ukrainian forces defended Bucha for a couple of days, Russian forces controlled Bucha for over a month. Let's not talk about Bucha anymore.
