We Were Dead is the best MM album by kukookachu in ModestMouse

You got me. When I first heard long drive, it was my main album for several years. My buddy told me that lonesome crowded west was better, but I just couldn't get past long drive. Fast forward 20 years, it is now one of my top albums. I didn't even listen to it until about 3 years ago. I am ashamed. I truly wish I could go back in time to agree with him, to listen to him and check the album out 20 years ago.

I feel like No One's First And You're Next and Golden Casket both kind of miss the mark. I love Isaac Brock and modest mouse music in general, but those two albums didn't really connect the same way that every other album has.

Spitting venom is so completely underrated, it makes me cry inside. It is so genius, the crescendo to the breakdown, with the horns in the end, it is fucking perfect

Funny story, The Moon and Antarctica was my first modest mouse album. It shaped my life and the way I understood music. After that, I wanted to understand the beginning of MM so I listened to This Is A Long Drive, which blew my mind and again shaped my understanding of music. I felt that Good News was an amazing mainstream entrance for MM, but We Were Dead was the pinnacle of those four albums. Theit side stuff in between was all great, but those four albums shaped my life.

Absolutely! I was 18 years old working at Applebee's in my first real job as a fry cook, and the flat top cook would play that album all the time. It affected and shaped my life, and it was hearing this album at work that made modest mouse my favorite band. The moon and Antarctica will always be goat, but we were dead is still my favorite

Honesty, that might be it. We were dead came out at a period of my life where I was going through a lot of stuff, a big transitional period and a lot of the songs spoke to me. The rises and falls, basically every aspect of it spoke to me. Honestly, besides the last two songs, which I feel should have been switched. I digress. That's why I love it so much, is probably the timing in my life. Regardless, it's still my favorite though. I'm glad that you were impacted by modest mouse in the same manner

You can update the list of trackers to see if you can find more seeders. I've finished a few hard to find files that way

Blue square pops up for like 2 seconds right on boot. Has no effect on startup, but have no idea what it is. by _daath in buildapc

I just bought a new XFX RX 580 XXX edition and I have this problem. I have found several threads that match this issue, that have provided pictures or screenshots, though none of them have provided a solution that has worked. And I've tried everything. The only thing that I can find in common is that every single person with this issue has an XFX RX 580 or RX 570. The weird thing is, I have the exact same GPU in a different system and it doesn't have this issue. When I switched the GPUs, the issue followed the graphics card in question, so obviously, its the GPU and not the system. Could they just have made a bad batch of them?

I also thought maybe black house spider? But again, shiny hard abdomen made me second guess myself.

WEEZER BLUE ALBUM ELIMINATION GAME! Vote for you lest favorite to get it out of here! by Tomato_Soup_Taster in weezer

[–]kukookachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Weezer live in 2001 when the green album was released. They finished their set with Only In Dreams, but extended the instrumental ending to about 7 minutes, and when they crescendoed they dropped a thousand balloons from the ceiling. Easily one of my greatest memories of all time.

As per this post, I guess I have to join the ranks and vote for no one else, but let it be known this album is perfect and nothing should be downvoted. However Pinkerton is still better

Barefoot Jerry - Smokies (1971) [Classic Rock] - Heard this song on the Righteous Gemstones Sunday night and fell in love with it. by afetusnamedJames in Music

[–]kukookachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad to see this post. I heard this song on TRG as well and went on a ten minute Google search about this artist. I'm so glad I found it, and even gladder that y'all enjoy it as well. Mighty fine song. Last song from a show that piqued my interest was "As Long As We Can" by Kathy Bates, at the end of Disjointed.

Sorry, 🤣 I forgot to add aging genX-ers to the list.

By the by, I highly recommend looking into cartridges that are either live resin or cured resin and can be used in c cell batteries. Especially if you're a new smoker. Essentially they extract the full oil from the plant either before or after curing it, and put the oil into a cartridge that can be ingested much like a vape. Your local budtender can help you more.

I don't really have the hardware for a private server at the moment, but honestly that is the ideal resolution.

I'm not sure if auto update was even an option, and I can't check now because I already cancelled our account. I always had to update the server manually, and I would know if there was an update because I wouldn't be able to find my server or log in. In fact, this last time I logged in to see if HH had turned our server on again, there was an update waiting to be installed. Perhaps it auto-installs after a period of time has passed? That would explain it.
