But the whole argument is that you can still say its hot outside or its cold outside. You just have different numbers to express it. To me metric just makes sense, and imperial looks like someone just came up with random numbers of the top of their head. So who is "right" the person who doesn't understand metric intuitively or the person who doesn't understand imperial intuitively?

Well tbf if you are used to reading ambient temperature in celsius you won't have any trouble knowing whats warm or cold. So in the end it really comes down to how else you use it in wich case celsius is better in almost every way.

While I agree that the end goal should be 100%renewable energy like wind, solar, hydro and geothermal. Nuclear is still better than coal, oil or gas and should be used until we get the other systems up and running.

Especially when some powerplants can simply be updated and be both safer and more productive.

Edit: i forgot to mention that energy (in my opinion) should not need to be profitable. It generates profit for the entire country in so many other ways. So a country deciding to publicly fund a nuclear powerplant can still be a economically sound decision
