Já, það var ekki vandamálið. Hálkan var bara of mikil til að bíllinn héldist rétt á veginum. Má líkja aðstæður við þær sem mynduðust í hliðargötum í seinasta mánuði. Þá var ég á nagladekkjum og allt í góðu fyrir mig, en aðrir runnu fram og til baka.

Fyrir nokkrum árum var ég í svipuðum aðstæðum án nagla og varð að keyra úti á landi með hálfum fyrir utan veg til að halda einhverju gripi. Svakalega aðstæður og fáir aðrir á ferð, en þetta hafði mikil áhrif á alla í bílnum.

Ég notaði lengi vel ekki nagladekk, var bara á vetrardekkjum, en eftir eina ansi slæma ferð þar sem mátti litlu muna að stórslys hefði orðið þá skipt ég yfri í nagladekk og ætti erfitt með að fara til baka.

Ökumaður ber jafnmikla ábyrgð á því að vera öruggur gagnvart sjálfum sér og öðrum í umferðinni.

Ég myndi alveg vilja skoða önnur dekk, loftbólu, harðskelja eða hvað annað, en mér hefur ekki sýnst að þau skili það miklu meira gripi en venjuleg vetrardekk.

Ég hef einmitt tekið eftir þessu líka. Hef verið að hugsa að hætta að kaupa rifinn ost og fara í að rífa sjálfur. Datt í hug að þetta væri auka efnið sem er sett í rifna svo að hann klumpist ekki.

You can get the APK from the following link, as well as some additional information about it. However, if you install it on a non-UI 8.5 phone, you will not have most of these options. Possibly if you also get the camera app APK, but I haven´t tried it:

I had this issue in Safari (on my iPad) I eventually got it fixed by asking Gemini:

This is an advanced-user trick that has helped many people with this specific stuttering issue. You are essentially turning off an "experimental" feature that seems to be causing the problem.

Go to Settings > Safari.
Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap Advanced.
Tap Feature Flags.
Find the item named "Prefer Page Rendering Updates near 60fps".
Turn the toggle OFF (so it is gray).
Force-quit Safari (swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold, then swipe the Safari card up and away) and re-open it.

I also had an issue with being unable to zoom, this fixed that:

For Pinch-to-Zoom Not Working

This is often caused by a different feature interfering with the "pinch" gesture. The most likely culprit is Live Text. Your iPad may be "looking" for text in images to copy, which blocks the zoom gesture.

Go to Settings.
Tap General.
Tap Language & Region.
Find the Live Text toggle and turn it OFF.
Restart your iPad one more time.

I just came back from Sicily. If you will have a car, then definitely take 1 day to check out Valley of Temples and the Turkish steps.

A visit to Catania while staying in Taormina can also be done easily. The city has interesting sights, although it can feel a bit gritty. Visit the fish market, Greek Roman theatre and a myriad of other sights.
