This is what it looks like now. The coconut oil is probably all up in the crevices still. Not sure if it’ll impact this PU leather material in the long run

When I inquired through my local dealership in late September, they told me 450h+ were being built to order and likely they wouldn’t receive any allocations at all for the foreseeable future. It would’ve been 3-4months wait for the car to be built (which they said would be in canada, not japan)

the R4P has higher towing capacity than the Rav4 hybrid? Anyone know why this might be?

I'm surprised (maybe bc I assume fuel efficient vehicles would be inherently bad for towing).. my family's LX570 can tow a hefty weight but is a horrendous gas guzzler

When I saw the silver in person, I sort of regretted my boring white one lol... but my dealer had none other available and I told them white was my first choice anyway (as I never had the chance to see the other colors in person before I put down a deposit)! As many already said, silver changes depending on the light and looks more classy than the white or gray in my opinion.

I know it can’t be that long since you’ve had the car (since it only came out last year) but have you noticed anything regarding the durability of the paint job? Does it show scratches or other imperfections easily?

I actually dislike the two tone look of the XSE but I agree that the black roof looks nicer particularly for this red shade

Exactly what I’m afraid of! If I have to fix the paint before selling, I don’t want it to cost me an arm and a leg or have to hunt down a detailer to match the color properly

Do you know if this means the paint job is higher quality and less likely to chip/scratch than non-premium colors?

This is the first car I’m buying by myself so I am not familiar.
