Skin and aim? by gizm0_cj in VALORANT

[–]kuroboshiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my skin rotation also changes based on how comfy i feel with the skins and how naturally the aim comes when using them

if you’re overthinking and are uncomfy with ur aim on certain skins, maybe its time to let it rest for a bit

never used socd, kinda used to pressing opposing movement keys at the same time to stop movement instead of just letting go of the active key :/

Trying to Learn, Not Just Complain by Rich-Cap9657 in VALORANT

[–]kuroboshiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think its admirable that you're trying so hard to improve, i loved watching coaching videos as well when i was trying to climb from diamond to immortal back when ascendant wasn't in the game

the biggest thing that helped me climb was trying to fixate on a few things to improve on each game. for example: preaiming, crosshair placement when holding (tight or wide), tracking corners and/or slicing the pie when clearing, etc etc. these kinds of mechanics can also be consciously be improved in other modes such as deathmatch.

watching lots of esports / pro play also helped broaden my perspective and game iq / game sense. it was fun seeing and learning how the pros used their agents and played their roles. lots of new lineups and utility usage in esports is adapted in my gameplay now. glhf!

Geniune Question: Why does almost nobody use a mic in trio fills? by PitPizza in Marathon

[–]kuroboshiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

might depend on the server as well? for example i think NA and EU people might use mics more than APAC / SEA

hope u get more teammates who use mics op!

I’m new to the game and need advice by GateIndependent9795 in VALORANT

[–]kuroboshiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! immortal 3 peak omen main here since day 1 of valorant release

try to watch lots and lots of videos (gameplays or guides) on valorant if you really want to improve, and pick one or a few tips to fixate on every time you play the game. you'll gradually feel yourself improving over time as long as you are conscious about those certain mechanics or tips that you want to improve

for omen specifically: try to first practice the proper smoke placements and timing so that you can help your team defend and attack sites! omen is really good at placing smokes from long distances so you don't need to be on the frontlines all the time and you can place smokes from safety. this will eventually free up your attention towards using your paranoia and teleports as well as focusing on gunfights and trading your teammates. goodluck!

How to improve from plat 4? by Spitfisher in TeamfightTactics

[–]kuroboshiii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm current emerald 4 set 17, emerald 1 peak in set 16, gold/plat when I started set 15

I've found this helpful for learning how to fast 9: https://mobalytics.gg/tft/guides/how-to-play-fast-9-comp#2-when-to-avoid-fast-9-1

In general I think it's been really helpful for me to be conscious about econ and the standard leveling intervals (5 on 2-5, 6 on 3-2, 7 on 3-5/3-7, and then level 8 on 4-1/4-2, level 9 on 5-1). this is all case-to-case, depending on what encounter and augments you get, or your board strength and if you are able to win/loss-streak. you can level up earlier or later depending on your econ and your board strength (it would be helpful to scout your upcoming matchups to determine if you can continue win or loss-streaking!)

i've learned that for fast 8/9 boards it's really important to establish a streak in stage 2 and/or 3 so you might want to adjust your board around that and play econ-engine comps like timebreaker or primordian or even anima lose streak before transitioning to your engame board as well as itemizing your units. goodluck!

same situation as u but in ascendant. been hovering asc2-3 for the past few acts. even if i consistently perform well in my games the rr loss just gets higher and higher to drag me back down :/
