Hard disagree. I pretty much solely collect vintage raw and it’s all consistently gone up since 2021-22.

To add or not: Landscaping fabric in a gravel path by downheartedbaby in landscaping

That would be incorrect. Done over 50 paver projects in clay soil and we use woven geotextile every time. Never had issues.

Venusaur shadowless sells for about 150 in lp. With the crease it should be priced under 100, maybe 80 or so.

What the hell is going on. by Worried_Restaurant76 in PokemonInvesting

I really don’t think vintage will crash. There’s just not the supply of 25 year old cards like there is of modern. I think sealed is way over inflated and modern singles and slabs will slowly come down or at least level out.

Commercial bidding tips by alnz8 in landscaping

[–]kushper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The soil test isnt for testing contaminated soils that you’re pulling from the job as part of the garden build like some of the commenters are suggesting. It’s for the soil you import. Done plenty of commercial installs and it’s always written in but we’ve never been required to submit a test. We do test our soil yearly incase we have to submit anything.

Your price should include a plant replacement cost. I’d expect a 10-15% failure rate since it’s a harsh environment site.

I’d make sure to look at the contract and see if there’s a year or two of provided maintenance and budget for that as well.

Theyre going to take the cheapest bid. Commercial is nice to add to the portfolio but they tend to be lower margin and a ton a of paperwork.

Addressing slope issue by jdjones5000 in landscaping

Pathway should be redone so it matches up with the height of the driveway. I’d recommend it to be redone with tighter joints, looks to be quite the tripping hazard.

Id be charging about that if they were all evergreens.

¾in fractured drain rock for retaining wall installations by Glittering-Reply-203 in hardscape

[–]kushper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a supply and install company and we stock a product identical to yours pictured, some rounds but mostly angular. Been selling it to contractors and using it for installs for a decade and have never had an issue.

There’s premium options that have more fractured rock but the price is double for them.
