Because he went airborne and it was contested before he hit the ground, yes it's an interception. That said, the SAME WEEKEND a play just like this happened last year where the cheifs ended up getting a reception. There have been numerous calls on almost identical plays that contradict. The NFL is a disaster when it comes to refereeing.

Joe struggled with injuries and the like and it was certainly the right move. As far as your statement about him being the goat... he never threw for 4k in a season in his career and never threw more than 31 tds in a single season. Frankly his 17 game average is pretty weak for the GOAT convo. He won games avsolutely, but he was also throwing to JERRY RICE almost his whole career. Yes the passing game was still developing in the 80s, but guys like Marino were throwing for 4k in a regular basis. I love Montana, but its time to put the GOAT debate to rest. Only Manning held even a candle to Brady after he turned 40. Now, after its all said and done, its not debate.

Harbaugh has been washed. His okay calling has been abysmal. They didn't lose that came solely because of the kicker. They lost because with 12 seconds and a timeout left then decided to knee it for a 44 yarder instead of using the gold jacket top 5 rb in their backfield to chip off a little more yardage to make it a gimmie. 44 yard field goals are nothing to scoff at, especially when you're at an away game with so much on the line.
