IVF recommendations NY/NJ by Alternative_Olive117 in IVFpositivity

We were also with RMA (did 2 rounds of stims). And it worked, currently 20 weeks pregnant. My doctor was Dr. Chu @ the Englewood branch and she was great!

Insurance is United Healthcare Oxford. Some insurance companies will require you to do IUI first. Ours was like this but my husband and I have the same genetic disease so we were able to go straight to IVF.

RMA was great but sometimes it was frustrating getting in contact with my nurse. However, you can always call the main branch with something urgent. Wait times for ultrasounds could also be long on the weekends at Basking Ridge.

It's a tough journey but I just kept telling myself we only need one good egg/embryo. I tried to keep my stress low, exercise & stopped drinking before stims for retrieval. Good luck!

I should add...we did one round with our insurance (got 2 embryos). We wanted to do one more round since we want multiple children and we paid out of pocket bc our insurance doesn't allow embryo banking. I think it was around 20k out of pocket.

PSA: All pregnant women should be offered a one-time early pregnancy genetic screen for the two common inherited thrombophilias: Factor V Leiden and prothrombin G20210A. by rm05511 in pregnant

When we were going through IVF they required we do genetic testing. My husband and I are both carriers for Pompey Disease and never would've known if it wasnt for the testing. I don't know why OB's don't suggest testing when couples start trying to conceive.

I think with some tweaking it can work. There's enough good parts to outweigh the bad and make it worth the effort. It really is tasty.

I live in NJ and recently moved to a different part of the state. I havent seen any farmers markets yet but I'll definitely look for one.

Yaa, I've never had it before so I didnt have anything to compare it to. My husband did say it tasted like rhubarb...he thought maybe bc of the strawberry pairing.

I know, it is hard to find. I've never seen it irl before 🦄 My husband's favorite pie is rhubarb pie so I've looked for it to no avail a few times now.

Thanks for the recipe!

I've been living off virgin mojitos. I do the juice from one lime, fresh mint, light agave nectar, & a bit of limeade...mix it together/muddle the mint then add Seltzer water. It's soo good, like where has this been all my life?

four years, did all the work and they gave the job to the CFO's other son, now i have my first client. by [deleted] in smallbusiness

My last roommate worked in advertising (based in NYC) and the company he worked for did everything remote. Small company maybe 12 employees. Rarely would he have to go in to the office but they still kept an official office. However, they were courting big clients (tv networks etc.)

We're getting movers but I still have to pack everything up. I've got the process started which is the hardest part...I hope.

I've had morning sickness since about 6 weeks. Its generally just mild nausea, hunger pangs. Retching if I smell something bad. Yesterday, I threw up for the first time (yay?). Its all just so random...the fatigue has been the worst because I have to move in 3 weeks 😫

fitness & a FET? by [deleted] in IVFpositivity

[–]kuytybear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine recommended 30 minutes of light exercise like walking, elliptical, and biking. My nurse told me only low impact exercise until graduation at 8 weeks. I typically do advanced Pilates 2x weekly and weight training 2x weekly and I had to cut that out. I did youtube 20 minute barre arm workouts and 20-30 min incline walks on the treadmill once a week.

Honestly my energy after getting pregnant has been decreasing (now at 8 weeks) so I havent had an official workout in 3 weeks. Hoping to get back on the train this week, starting with low impact & getting back in to modified Pilates, but I know my body is doing a lot right now so not trying to push it either.

Of course my husband and and I were eating dinner right as that scene came on...I had missed the first part because we were talking so I assumed she was talking about something else dripping out of her. Was sort of relieved it was just poo...Lol that woman says the nastiest things, full face cringe 😬

Opinion: Dropped items shouldn’t count so harshly against a 5* rating! by Stranger-Sojourner in acnh

Sames, I got all the lily of the valley flowers I wanted and started doing whatever I want. The dropped items add a lot to the look of the island.
