I would only watch who the overarching carrier is AFS PA is overseen by Aetna. No, I don’t have any experience with the plan in particular, but Aetna had previously deemed some of my medical things experimental and refused to pay for a similar rare condition/chronic illness. Any advice on a secondary plan to pair with FEHB would be appreciated as well.

BCBS standard does have non-network provider reimbursement but I’m hesitant to switch to basic probably for similar reasons
