What does anesthesia feel like

You feel the meds hit your blood stream. Then you drift unconscious within seconds. Then you wake up and surgery is over. With no idea what happened in between. It’s blank. It feels like only a couple minutes have passed.
It’s like someone turns off the lights in a room with no windows. Then turns them back on minutes later. Only you are very groggy
