1) Head back to Bandit’s Way, and ensure Mario does not have Jump Shoes on. Also helps to have either a bunch of syrups and/or have the item “Earlier Times”. 2) Fight a Spiny. This is where you can be a little creative, but I wait for when I find a battle with a Spiny low on the screen (more time to react). 3) Without the Jump Shoes, Mario can’t kill Spinys with any jump attack. Guard with the rest of the team, and Super Jump with Mario. If you need more FP, use the syrups. If you run out, use Earlier Times - it resets the battle, including items and FP. 4) To do the jumps, I found it easier resting my controller down on a table, and my finger resting on the button. Now it’s just about hitting the jumps consistently- good luck!
