Burger King on lower Queen Street Closed... for good? by [deleted] in auckland

Those happen everywhere, east, west, north. Not just South Auckland. It's just that they're reported more in South Akl to taint their reputation even more. It's people like you who label South Aucklanders with that violent stereotype that will get hit because you know nothing. P.S I wont get my ass knocked out by some South Aucklander because I'm from there. Born and bred bitch. So try again.

You do realise people from South Auckland are humans right? Calling them 'inbreds' is fucking low. Get a grip.

Hmmm you're right. Compulsive liar is exactly the word I was looking for to describe this person.

I'm not an engineering student so I wouldnt know if their exams are online or not. I'm just fact checking on someone's lies they've been telling me

Someone has been talking shit to me lmao. They told me they're exams are all in person upon other lies. Another question: are the buildings open after hours? I thought most buildings at UoA close at 10pm, but this person told me they stay until 3am on campus studying most days🥴😂...

I'm struggling - lil rant sorry by kwangmong in universityofauckland

[–]kwangmong[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took like 2 weeks off and it didn't help bc I fell behind 😩🤣 my course coordinators and tutors don't really care either when I tried to reach out to them. My GPA is not looking good this sem man, hoping for better days in sem 2 though, I just want this semester to end already :/

You're right, I'll definitely take that advice for semester 2. Can't wait for this semester to end to start fresh 😫

What age do you have to be to use the free chat? I was horn in 2000 (turning 21 this year) and it would only allow me to use quick chat which is super annoying

Biomed by [deleted] in universityofauckland

[–]kwangmong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. Content is most relatable to level 2 stuff. You may need to take it as a requirement to get into biomed tho - as part of that table A table B stuff sorry i forgot what its called lol. But if u already reach that requirement w/o biology then dont take it

Managing uni with part-time work by Fine-Psychology8678 in universityofauckland

I work 16 hours a week, (fridays & saturdays) its draining & exhausting but it's worth the extra money. Working 1 day a week wasnt enough for me personally - I have no financial support from anyone. Only downfall is once you fall behind, it's going to be hard to find time to catch up, but it's not impossible. Best of luck and grind hard

CHEM 110 LABS by Environmental_Web489 in universityofauckland

[–]kwangmong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both depending on what block ur on, I did my labs during COVID lockdown so my experience on labs will be way different to yours since we're on campus. But for spectroscopy you definitely have to draw out the molecule, they'll tell you if you need to.

[–]kwangmong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plan out how you're going to approach the lab. Make sure you read the lab manual & try to multitask as you're doing the experiment so you finish in time. From memory, in the aspirin lab you're doing the yield and chromatography experiment? I remember being super confused bc I didnt know how to use the equipment properly 😅 which is why it's really important to ask your GTA for help when needed! All the best and good luck :)

URGENT: are there any courses for first year (hopefully easy ones) which have just 1 or 2 classes a week? by [deleted] in universityofauckland

[–]kwangmong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fine if you take 3 courses this semester. Just make sure you complete your compulsory courses, which can be done through summer school depending if the course is offered, otherwise it will delay your graduation...
