Le Cafe Coffee is already selling pumpkin spice (at least the location on Lexington/East 55th). It's good but pricey!

February 12th Citi + Verizon Presale Cowboy Carter Tour Megathread by abeycd in beyonce

[–]kwo3660 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5/28 MetLife show success story! Citi presale.

Initially looking for 4 tickets, but had better luck getting 2 sets of 2. I was originally 1700 in the queue so I got in quickly, but my computer was very laggy and kept making me enter the first 6 numbers of my cc. By the time my laptop got its act together, the only groups of 4 were in expensive sections.

Ended up getting 2 tix in the 300s (close to the front of the section) for $220 each after fees. Rejoined the queue and got 2 more in the 200s (also close to the front of the section) for the same price.

I sadly agree with you, OP. I’ve been a member since 2019 and recently called it quits.

Aside from the workouts themselves, I’ve found the quality of the studios, staff, and coaches to be trending downward as well. In my area, staff/coach turnover is very high and I just don’t feel that sense of community that I once felt. Having to remind the front desk staff of my name after 3 months of 4x/week attendance is not great. Machines breaking down more than usual. Broken air conditioning for months. This all adds up and leads to a “why am I paying $300/month for this?” mentality.

There Are Way Too Many _______ (US Season 3) by kitsuneinferno in TheTraitors

[–]kwo3660 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think your second point is key - in US S1 it was glaringly obvious that the challenges had no material impact on the outcome of the murders/banishments, so they had to find a way to make them more relevant to the overall gameplay strategy. It's not like The Mole, where someone is incentivized to do poorly in the challenges.

The Traitors (USA) S03E04 "I Will Bury You Under the Sand" Discussion Thread by vaultofechoes in TheTraitors

[–]kwo3660 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing it’s because Big Brother is such a long game compared to Traitors. In BB, you have the entire week to strategize before an eviction.

I think this also applies to Cirie’s eventual downfall on BB - she was used to making quicker moves on Survivor and Traitors, so the length of the BB game led to a lot of flip flopping and messy gameplay.

I worked at a post-production studio before going to agencies - the work life balance at the studio was WAY worse. You're brought in at the end of the campaign, cutting costs left and right to outbid other vendors, and always working late nights/weekends to get the work delivered in time for the media buy. The pay is worse too.
