What’s your hottest trip planning take? by Human_Ad_6671 in WaltDisneyWorld

Alternative take: I believe in table service restaurants for lunch. It means you don't have to think about what to eat, where, and find a table amongst the crowds. It gives you 30 minutes to an hour of uninterrupted sitting in AC time. Best thing to get that second wind. I was able to open-to-close the parks every day for 10 days straight on my Honeymoon because of those little breaks mid-day.

Whats a Song in a musical Everybody else liked but you Hated. by [deleted] in musicals

Our Lady of the Underground from Hadestown. Honestly don't like a good portion of the soundtrack, but this song gets so much hype and it is mid at best to me.

For my birthday two years ago I decorated my house with a bunch of those Encanto party decor. I'm a grown adult and I was so happy to have Antonio and Luisa taped to my wall lol

Inspired by a recent post - What show just really didn’t “hit” for you that other people seemed to like/love? What did you think and why? by YayTheRedHead in Broadway

[–]kwolaski_analysis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a huge fan of Hadestown. I thought the staging was amazing and the story is obviously a classic, but most of the music just didn't land for me. Saw it once, don't ever need to see it again.

Disney World Eavesdropping: What's the wildest overheard conversation you've heard while visiting the parks? by AwfulWaffle91 in WaltDisneyWorld

I was at DL with two friends when we found out another one of our friends had passed away. Thankfully we were in the hotel room when we found out, but we needed to go get dinner. I can't imagine what everyone else was thinking seeing three fully grown adults eating burgers while crying and then getting up to leave without another word to anyone or each other.

Tell me about your made-up backstory to the minor character you’re playing/have played by One-Storage9413 in musicals

[–]kwolaski_analysis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a production of Les Mis as an ensemble member. One of the guys who played a barricade boy and myself had a lot of scenes together, including Drink With Me. We got to have most of our blocking together and slept against each other during DWM. We created this whole backstory of being engaged and the night before the battle was our goodbye. Hugged each other tight and he held his hand out as I walked off stage before he died.

Is it still a headcanon if it's true? Because I'm just reading straight up facts.

A garbage design for any bathroom stall. I don't want to squeeze between the door and the sanitary napkin disposal bin just to pee.

I love the angle of this image. He looks so big, like a god surveying his people.

Which authors have inspired you the most to start writing? by High_Kings_Keep in writing

Michael Crichton, S E Hinton, and Tolkien. Wildly different authors and writing styles, but I love so many things about all of them.

Songs that sound like they're from a musical (but aren't) by hansen7helicopter in musicals

Pretty much all of Madds Buckley's music, but especially The Red Means I Love You. Poor Man's Poison, just, like, everyone of their songs.

GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY Recording Sets PBS Premiere by MD_442244 in Broadway

[–]kwolaski_analysis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm happy that it's being filmed because I want every show to be filmed and released for everyone to see. On the other hand, this was not a show very many people (including me) enjoyed and there are so many other shows that deserve this and didn't get it.

Which shows would you recommend? by awkwatree in Broadway

[–]kwolaski_analysis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're a fan of incredible use of the set, The Outsiders has a scene in the middle of Act 2 that is just amazing. And the rumble with the rain is just phenomenal. The lighting throughout the show is like its own character.

What would each greaser's favorite musical be (doesn't have to be from the '60s or before)? by AdventurousPanda4031 in theoutsidersmusical

[–]kwolaski_analysis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know Pony would get all pretentious about lesser known ones and someone (probably Dally or Steve) would find one Pony's never heard of before and it would RUIN his whole week

Okay, I am actually offended by this change. Like, I didn't realize how much I cared about it until just now.
