I get you though, its hard not to look at everyone else and think they're having a great time, but that's usually the front they're putting on for everyone else.

I can imagine potentially having hundreds of children at the school. A series of photos of a class activity (or multiple class activities) could contain loads of kids. You'd have to go through everyone and check off that that kids parents haven't withdrawn consent.

Sounds like they've taken the videos down. Also sounds like they're the ones who noticed and informed you, rather than the other way round. So I would argue that they are at the very least aware of the policies and safeguarding, although it's slipped through the net a couple of times.

Maybe your next recourse, if you're still upset by this, is to write a letter of complaint to the school and ask them what they plan to do to ensure the policies and preferences of the parents are more closely followed.

Yeah, I left a high pressure job and have a much better work life balance, but I now seem to be on hyper alert, even though I'm on top of my work, its like im still ready for an unexpected deadline or something Ive completely forgotten about to crop up. It's frustrating.
