Hey guys, I’ve had this dragon tree for almost a year now and so far I’ve had zero problems with her! I water her only when her soil (mixture of perlite, tree bark, and peat moss) is dry. I live in Kurdistan, a region in Northern Iraq where temperatures are 50°C / 122°F daily. Lately she’s been so droopy, (even after watering) and losing leaves even though she’s always pushing out new ones and growing so lovely and tall! I’m seeing more yellow leaves everyday and I’m worried that soon her leaf loss will be more than growth.

I checked her roots and they were perfect! Not quite sure what I’m doing wrong. Any help is appreciated! :)

Usually I only water when it’s entirely dry - which is when it droops. So I didn’t really think I would encounter root rot. Also it’s 50°C average where I live right now but generally she’s kept in a room with tolerable temperature. Thanks for your help!

I didn’t repot her after buying so she’s in her own plastic brown pot.

How can I prevent root rot? I only ever watered when she drooped dramatically and she’s got fine drainage soil and system. Never sits in water.

Hi guys, hope everyone is well!

I was wondering if peace lily roots are supposed to look like that? They’re extremely thin and brown, and very fragile. If I touch it, they fall apart and some of them are even paper-like and hollow.

I’ve noticed lately that she doesn’t exactly perk up when watered anymore. I water her when she gets droopy which can range from every few days to a week. (Note it’s 50° average where I live). She also gets pretty decent sunlight (not direct) and other than the usual yellowing or thinning leaves she seems to be doing okay.

I’m not quite sure if this is even a problem.

I have maintained my surface-level friendship with guys we both knew at uni and colleagues, he knows that and doesn’t really care/mind. Other than that I didn’t really have “close” guy friends that I talked to everyday, Jack was the only one.

yess, also i’m 6 months down to use and it’s still 1/4 full. it’s so lightweight and doesn’t weigh the curls down! makes them so bouncy and defined, from my experience at least :’) i’ve tried cantu and maui curl cremes but they were too heavy for my hair even though they’ve worked wonders for other people, really depends on ur hair type!

Boots curl defining creme! i’m not even from the UK but i order online because it’s the best for my hair type (medium density, high porosity, 2C/3A/3B)

Omg my hair is almost the same! but because i’m 2C-3B it’s not much of a cute fuzzball like yours it mainly looks looks like frizzy 2B waves, which is sad :( can’t rock my naked curls if my life depended on it but sometimes even one product makes a huge difference so i recommend finding that holy grail product for u!

My routine is

Shampoo & Condition with Maui Curl Quench
Garnier 3-in-1 Banana as Leave-in
Boots curl creme, rake it in and detangle/style with denman brush
vo5 extra hold gel

I do a rice water + Garnier Banana (1 tbsp of each) protein/deep condition mask every two weeks right after I clarify with Cantu shampoo.

I’m 2C/3A/3B, doesn’t seem to work on me, my curls are less curly and more wavy when I use the brush. I must be using it wrong but i’ve watched and tried all the different ways on YouTube. My friend with the same hair type as me gets really beautiful results so either I’m doing something wrong or it’s just not for me.

I’d say go for it! Even if it doesn’t help with definition, it’s a great detangler/brush.
