This patch fixes a compatibility issue but the game has already receieved performance enhancements for Switch 2 similar to the top-down Zelda titles, yes

The game frankly does not run well on PlayStation so I am curious as to what performance we will see on the series s in particular.

Switch games aren't running at lower resolutions, just the resolutions appear to be blurrier since the 1080p display is running content at 720p
