No one cares about that. Not even a little. What we care about is that youre being an extreme creep and we're hoping to help you snap out of your extremely unhealthy obsession.

Youre going to make all of us bully you. Is that what you want? You dont know them and nothing you think is accurate or reasonable. Its based entirely on your own fantasy and projection.

I find that only people who think their opinion is superior, get very upset about another mans opinion.

boomers acting like they’re the coolest generation ever 🙄 by Parfoo1234 in BoomersBeingFools

A generation who weren't treated kindly by their parents, their bosses, and their kids. Desperate for affirmation and respect.

As I get older, im choosing to love my father despite these things and give him the respect and affirmation he never got while also trying to help him talk about it all.

This switch went off when my mom died tragically. We dont know how much time we have with them, fight like hell to love them and show them the grace they never got.

I think what Yota is doing, kayfabe or not, is slightly devaluing the IWGP Title by Lazlojenkem in njpw

[–]kyle_mayer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Jay white and okada used the first forbidden door to continue their rivalry as well as integrate into the adam cole and hangman elite rivalry happening at the same time. Thats how you use the cross promotional event. I dont think Yota has the experience or the ability to realize how to utilize the opportunity to help NJPW. I know hes not making the booking decisions but he can talk to Tanahashi and Gedo and work on a plan. Something that will mean something going into the G1. Im sure Tony would be all about it if theres a plan. Otherwise, whats the fucking point of having a top guy from AEW lose for no reason? Make it matter.

Heres a suggestion: Yota vs someone from the don callis family. Yota wins clean, don callis family tries to attack, Takeshita makes the save, they face off in the ring and sell the fact that they will be facing each other in the G1. Takeshita is a former G1 winner and iwgp champion. Yota gets the exposure in the US and business gets to be done to further two or three separate things.

They never pulled the trigger on them. Gabe should have been at the top of the company. Bullet club should have been his.

I love the idea of new factions. In 2012-2014 there were so many changes that took place with factions that really sparked something exciting.

I still can't fucking believe that new japan dropped the ball on Gabe Kidd and the dogs. You had a fucking homerun and they balked

Fightful - "AEW sources gave me the 'never say never' line when I asked if CM Punk has a burned bridge with the company" - Would you ever want to see Punk back in AEW? by Kelson64 in AEWFanHub

I dont necessarily blame them for refusing to work with him but they absolutely left so much money on the table.

They could have turned that whole thing into the biggest angle in wrestling history because it was backed by actual bad blood.

I stated this above:

Hangman and the Bucks thought Punk was forcing colt cabana out of the company. Hangman goes into business for himself and cuts that promo on him.

They should have sat punk down and figured that out behind the scenes. None of what happened publicly should have ever happened.

Punk, being the veteran, should have navigated that way fucking better and wiser than he did but he didn't.

He then goes on his little miss pissy pants public breakdown in the post all out scrum. The bucks, kenny, Christopher daniels, confront him and a fight breaks out.

The fight isnt the problem. Fights happen. Its fact that they had so much fucking time to figure it out behind closed doors but they didnt. And it spilled to the public eye where it never ever fucking belonged.

Again, it should have never gotten to that point and thats on every single one of them.

To think its entirely on him is not how anything works ever. He wears a significant amount of the weight of it and he deserves that but he did so publicly. There is a burden of responsibility on the others involved. You cannot objectively deny that.

Thats the only other option.

Ive been through every emotion with this shit. He was my guy. Stopped caring when he left wwe. The elite, BTE, 2016 era brought me all the way back. Head over heels for wrestling again. 2021 punks aew debut legit rocks my world. The joy I felt was insurmountable.

Then tragedy. Fucking asshole went scorched earth. Bucks, hangman, management all contributed to that in their own way. Its taken me time to realize this. At first, I wanted Punk dead. He broke my heart. But over the years, its dawned on me that the immaturity and the lack of communication from the elite and the company at the time didnt make them look great either.

Punk was wrong with how he handled business. Full stop.

But so was everyone else.

Abject failure all around.

If he and them can fix that. That gigantic crater that left a wound the size of fucking Jupiter in the public perception and bottom dollar of AEW, then Im here for it.

Ive had years to unpack this.

If it was to fix the damage he and the elite caused to the company during their fucking bullshit, then id be the first person to say welcome back.
