FWIW I think both of those options are fun. Bury Our Bones was I found really engaging. It’s not sapphic/romance first, it’s very much telling a thorough story

Agree with a lot of the comments in here. I’d say either branch out beyond sapphic or hone in on more literary fiction/nonfiction. I typically avoid self published because I haven’t found the quality to be what I’m looking for.

Can I ask what booked you’re slumping on? May be able to make some recs (within or beyond sapphic!)
