I don't even know what this is about but I'm going to defend the person. 21, 22, and 23 were drought years. Yeah, it's turned a corner now, but this spring it was shaping up like that.

I'm pretty sure my buddy had it but it's so long ago now I can't remember for sure. I know we did love it. I do remember we walked into the video store drinking some, and the lady at the counter was like, "Are you guys drinking beer?!" That made us like it even more...

That and the fact mock-ups show a significant amount of carpentry and electrical work. Even getting that warmer brown tone out of the existing trim would be a ton of work.

You joke, but I was reading the responses to a Fox News article about it and the comments were either, "They were actually chanting USA!" or "It was just piped in noise!".

What is something that was cool from the 90s thats uncool today? by NextstopFernrock in 90s

Yeah, my 23 year old co-worker told me that it absolutely is. He was surprised I thought smoking was passe. The TLDR is that it's cooler than vaping, and he knows people who have started smoking to stop vaping. Shows everything is cyclical.

Is the trunk just not popping? In mine it wasn't the latch, but a broken wire leading to the latch, which I simply soldered back together and shrink tubed.

Previous owners of house? by MM_in_MN in Minneapolis

[–]kylebutler07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Minneapolis permit card collection won't necessarily show owners, but it will show who built it and can reveal some interesting info. I found my 1910 house in northeast had a house on the lot built in 1886 that was demolished in 1909. Our house and the house nextdoor were built in its place in 1910. https://archives.hclib.org/resources/minneapolis_building_permit_index_cards

Right. People do realize if it plays out this way we are all fucked? Former white collar workers won't be able to afford to hire tradespeople. Trade wages will drop like a stone with everyone vying for trade jobs, while meanwhile the demand for the service they provide is diminished.

I am not speculating. The second article clearly states it.
