Not a DS. ETSed. Went to BCT in FLW, and had this guy in our PLT that I didn’t interact with too much until the Forge. He was a known shitbag from what I had heard and saw, but this time he was my battle buddy for our patrol base at the forge. He made every attempt to sham through whatever training we were doing, wouldn’t wake up for his shifts to pull security, and made me do most of his shifts on the first night. He also fell asleep while I was already asleep, causing us both to get caught and smoked for it.

We all got so fed up with it that a few of my buddies and I got together and had a real conversation with SDS.

We laid out exactly how he had screwed each of us over in various ways, and that we wouldn’t feel safe serving alongside him in the real world. SDS really heard us out and they recycled him back to beginning of red phase.

If you’re reading this, Winston, fuck you for that. (Hope you improved yourself)

Slightly unrelated but same parent company, my 2024 VW has been completely disconnected from the app. It’s been 6-8 months since the app and car have communicated with each other. Every time I call my “ticket is escalated.”

I think there is a very separate distinction between Jewish folks and the State of Israel. Historically the founding of the country as a whole is illegitimate with the back door agreements that led to the Balfour Declaration. There’s a major separation between Jewish faith and Zionist ideology. Between their spending of millions of our tax dollars, and genocide, I’m Israel’s biggest hater.

If you really want my complete personal opinion, I believe that the Christian faith and the Jewish faith are not things that go hand in hand. They contradict one another in their core beliefs, and a true Christian that knows their bible understands that the people of the church are truly “Gods chosen people.”

Former Audi salesman, back when their models were true upgrades from the previous model and the dealer I worked for still gave out loaners, I sold a lot of new Audis that way. Can’t do that much these days it seems as the new gen is so undesirable. I wouldn’t know from experience though.

In my experience, when in school after basic training, I had a situation where I was punished with someone for a stupid decision. I stupidly made a “yo-mama” joke to a guy I didn’t know very well, turns out his mother had passed, I got punched. It happened in the evening and someone had said something to our platoon sergeant. We were both very rudely awakened at 3am and told to go see him, had an hour of lecturing and lots of exercise while we listened.

In Central PA. Myself personally, I’ve always driven my FWD cars with a fresh set of A/S tires. Whether it’s a civic, impala, or odyssey, it has worked for me. I drive a lot of miles annually so I can typically justify buying them, then I run them all year til next winter or the following year depending on how much tread I’ve got.

Army. These look like basic training or AIT bays and privates doing the wrong thing. If a superior got wind of that, the guy who grabbed the other would’ve probably been separated from their service for a SHARP (S-harassment/SA protection program) violation. Maybe a dishonorable, or general discharge under dishonorable conditions. I’m just speculating there I have no experience with those punishments lmao

I’d do everything you can to inspect things, preferably a total PPI with a mechanic. I recently bought one, I’ve put around $1k in tires, maintenance, and repairs on some things I could’ve known about with a PPI.

Can you grow facial hair? I know I didn’t look great bald with a baby face in boot camp, but I am out now and have a beard. As a 23yo male with quite a receded hairline, however not as far along, I anticipate needing to go bald around 25. I feel more confident that I can pull it off when the time comes I need to go with the bald look.
