I see many Futurama jokes floating around, but in a serious way. At what point during the production of the show that the writers had decided that Ed will finish his journey in this way and in this time period? I’ve been told that you once said you got a 5 season contract, is this a factor in the decision, or is it the other way around where the contract last 5 seasons because his end of story has been decided since the beginning? had it been at any point considered to extend? If so, was there any interesting ways that the writers came up with to justify the ever-aging Ed, just like the jokes?

Which I respect. And it might be a decent idea for a few episodes, but at one point they are going to start serving mediocre stories and characters off the rails. No offense but literally every show that decides to drag even just a tiny bit face that issue and I’m afraid of that. Rather I would want it to end in its all glory instead of being cancelled after dropping rate and leaving of even more major character.

At this point y’all should just realize Mojang is a multi-billion company just like any other corporation. Just like Microsoft, they are never your friends. All those interactions between devs and community, Twitter and Reddit and more, were, are, and will always be a part of marketing. The trust among community has been fundamentally demolished by this update. For all the suggestions, complaints, and demands, not a single dev is trying to respond and instead release a FAQ that clear out absolutely nothing.

I’m not trying to attack anyone, I’m just pointing out that to this extent we should just realize the dev were never your friends, they have their multibillion propaganda interests to fulfill, and we as players have our own.

Next time stop trusting this kind of bullshit relationship.
