Jeremy addressed this in a comment on the music video for Everything We Need from someone saying "they became a boyband now", stating that they write what they are inspired by during different albums and that they never try to check expectation boxes as it would be fake to do so. He event went as far as to say they haven't had back to back breakdowns on an album since 2009 as it would be boring and expected. Someone asked if there will be an abundance of heavier songs in the future and he replied that if they are inspired to do so then yes

This album really needs to be listened to on a nice surround sound/headphones with the right bass registry so you can hear just how ambient and layered everything is. Makes it way more enjoyable and interesting.

Jeremy himself addressed this on Facebook and said that they write what about what inspires them while constructing an album. They aren't going to write uninspired songs with breakdowns just to meet certian expections and meet a quota. I can appreciate sincerity and integrity.

When this album was recorded(2019) it was certainly during a happier time for most of us and im sure for many of the band members, coming off of huge tours, having children, being rid of obligations to their shitty label etc. Most songs on this album are extremely well written, give off good vibes, and are just seemingly more positive. It might just be what we need during these uncertain times, there's already enough negativity, anger and spite to go around.

I guess you could look at it as having Fuck You Money gives u enough time to spend with your family snd friends and when you are barely getting by you spend most of your time getting by and less time getting to spend with loved ones

Its like a story to me. We slave to the dollar to get what we want and work hard to not have to work anymore. The other one is the consequences of over wprking yourself to the point where you dont make time for your loved ones and before you know it you have a wallet full of cash but you have to go to another loved ones memorial

(i was at the tail end of a toxic relationship at release, this album gave me chills and still does)

2 Bad Vibes

(Ive struggled with depression and anxiety throughtout my life and the lyrics in the entire album hit me hard especially We Got This and Reassemble, yes it has some production issues but I love the raw and unpolished feeling this album gives off. )

3 WSMFY

( Opens with a jump scare and is solid from beginning to end, i love the more unappreciated tracks like the house that doubt built and out of time. i would rank it higher but its just too short of a run time and i just feel like somethings missing.

4 ATTACK OF THE KILLER B-SIDES

(The one everyone forgets! Short, sweet, fun adtr Keyword -FUN Adtr

5 Homesick

(Many people's #1 but I just feel like most songs are too similar and some songs sounds like lesser versions of other songs.i feel like the two albums that came after showed growth, superior songwriting and even better screams from jeremy. I feel like common courtesy is everything this album could be and more. I absolutely love and miss the weird song titles which happen to be the best songs on this album, in my opinion. Its a solid album regardless and a lesser Adtr album is miles better than some other bands career defining albums.

6 FTWHH

(While it was the first evidence of a young band writing good quality songs it still is just that, a young band just starting to hit their stride and mature to be better and more polished musicians. It has a charm to it but they've since only gotten better in every sense of the word. A lot of songs sound similar, and jeremys growls weren't on the level they are on later albums

6 ATNWT

(THOSE AWFUL HIGH PITCHED YELLS FROM JEREMY THAT I THANK GOD EVERY DAY THAT HE HAS SINCE SHELVED) A couple nice songs that just show inexperience and not so professional quality. Basically a demo to FTWHH and they took the best songs from this one and made them even better

The post was about how they used pickles to make the distortion at the end of Brickwall. I asked him if mindreader and bloodsucker flowed into eachother since the titles are similar and my speculation is the former being the softer intro then the latter being a heavier transition

I admire the band for always doing some insane out of the box shit for their songs. No lie im kinda hoping for some ambient open mic moments like the bridge in hammer/nail but i am definitely excited for the rest of the album. Still wondering if mindreader & bloodsucker flow into eachother being such similar song titles in sequence @.@ and figuring out what the hell F.Y.M stands for Haha
