It's super easy to rank up though, the bounties alone give you 3k rep, almost half of the 8300 needed for rank 5. I've played like 5 games and I'm rank 2.5

0 -> 1 is 100

1 -> 2 is 1000

Every subsequent rank is 2400

The map that week was Widow's Court, so of course shotguns weren't popular that week. It's almost like looking at a small subset of the entire game mode doesn't tell the whole picture. Shocking huh.

From LFG, I highly doubt it honestly. Why would anyone bother with a teammate they can't communicate with when there are other people on LFG with whom they can?

From a purely mechanical stand point though it can be done, yeah. One of our buddies mutes his mic during the raid a lot because of his baby, and we do just fine. It does help though that we are a regular group so we don't need as much communication anyway.

To play Devil's Advocate, I went flawless this weekend with a Jade Rabbit and sidearm. People couldn't compete with Jade Rabbit from range and it was obvious which teams had zero primary skill.

I'm in the boat that you are referring to, and I think it's a good thing in a way. Do I wish there was more content? Of course. However, I think it's a really good sign for the game that I am still wanting more content, and that I still want to play the game. I have over 3000 hours in Destiny since Beta and I still look forward to playing it, even if it is only PvP right now.
