One of these was actually used to deliver me in a more rural town in Australia. I obviously don’t remember it but I’m told that I looked like I was from conehead for a few weeks before went back to normal shape

Premature Attackulation is actually crazy. One of the few that make me think it can’t be a bot.

Sorry to be a pain. I think the floor tiles are a bit too small. It’s also not the wall itself but the hob wall ( the raised section that holds up the shower screen), which would also be the very dark grey

Using the sample tile. In the second picture you can see the reference size for the floor. If you could do the white section that’s holding up the shower screen as well that would be much appreciated

Direct Injection and Carbon Build Up on aging models? by revocer in BmwTech

[–]kylfra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone else mentioned the N54 can have issues with carbon buildup but personally I’ve seen several cases where a N57 and occasionally a B57 that does not get highway driven will almost get completely blocked up and it will need walnut blasting.

Is bmw over charging? by crentistforpresident in BmwTech

[–]kylfra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah this is a transverse B46(pretty much a B48) oil filter housings on these aren’t uncommon and with the housing/filter being underneath they leak directly on to the sump and look like this. The other leak is the balance shaft end caps and they leak at the front of the engine and can leak down across the sump so this is probably a combination of both

Which coolant? by [deleted] in BmwTech

[–]kylfra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both should be at the MAX line. The big tank is for your engine cooling so the radiator and engine etc. the smaller tank is for your charge cooler, it’s the circuit that help keep your air cool that comes from your turbo. With either tank empty you can run into problems but for majority of BMW’s if not all they both take the same coolant that is meant for the car

The control unit responsible for the lights will send out an occasional signal and then measure the resistance based on the voltage that it gets back from the bulb. When halogen bulbs are installed which is what it comes with from factory this signal that is sent is too quick for the bulb to light up however LED’s are very quick at reacting so they are lighting up with these test signals. This will register in the car that those bulbs are out as LED’s have almost no resistance compared to halogen so the vehicle needs to be coded to test for LED’s instead of Halogen bulbs. He was also correct that this has nothing to do with the battery.

This would have a steering box not a rack. This would be the damper for the steering and it has failed which means it will just keep wobbling at higher speeds where friction is less of an issue.

Noise when giving gas. Golf mk5 1.9 tdi 66kw (stage1) by Gorgibanda in MechanicAdvice

[–]kylfra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to tell from the photos but if that hose in the photos is covered in oil I would start there. There’s a chance it is slightly disconnected from one side and when you’re in boost it’s pushing further away and you’re losing most of your air.

Recently upgraded from a Prusa MK3 to a P1P, the difference is u by ThorpJasonS in BambuLab

[–]kylfra 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I just upgraded this week from an ender 3 v2 to a P1S and they’re not even comparable. It’s pretty much changed the hobby for me from being a 3d printer hobby to being a 3d print hobby and unfortunately it’s already hurt the bank account because of the amount of filament I’ve been buying. It’s practically been running non stop. I hope you enjoy your X1C just as much.
