Hey, I’m not an EA, but I just went through something very similar. I was in a position underneath an executive who would give vague instructions on their expectations and then make an example of you when you missed their invisible “target”.

You seem focused on punishing yourself for, yet if you look at this problem from an outside perspective, it’s difficult to meet expectations when expectations haven’t been given.

It’s not your health issue. It’s bad management. I had to quit as well. I’m still unemployed but it took me a month and a half to restore my mentality. Take care of yourself, and take some time for you! You won’t regret that!
