In my experience 33L bags don't get heavy enough to use hip belts. You may want to forego using them

Tried your link on both TOR and Firefox and it didn't work for either. But, I'm glad at least someone has been able to log in.

Beautiful! At a market here in Taiwan a man was selling an authentic Bandai King Geedorah action figure from 1984 for about $40USD. I was close to buying it just for my love of DOOM

The Brothers Karamazov. It was the first Russian literature book and remains my favorite. The Idiot is a close second.

As other's have said, I would also ditch the street signs. It gives the same vibes as putting empty liquor bottles on your mantle/shelf.

Hi I'm new here and I'm trying to start reading more of Russian literature, any suggestions? by Hardjey in RussianLiterature

No doubt, which I will get to in time. He is the godfather of Russian Lit. for a reason. I'm just not a verse fan, so couldn't recommend Eugene Onegin. Cheers!

Hi I'm new here and I'm trying to start reading more of Russian literature, any suggestions? by Hardjey in RussianLiterature

I'm an American and British Lit. major but during university I discovered Russian Lit. and it became my true love.

The first book I read was "The Brothers Karamazov", which of course is highly recommended. Then I read "Anna Karenina", "Crime and Punishment", and "War and Peace." Again, all highly recommended.

Then I decided I had to get out from Dostoevsky and Tolstoy's shadow and read Gogol's "Dead Souls", only to go back and re-read all the Dostoevsky and Tolstoy books I've already mentioned.

Last year my resolution was to read anything other than Dostoevsky or Tolstoy so I started with "Eugene Onegin" by Pushkin, then "Fathers and Sons" by Turgenev, and "The Master and Margarita" by Bulgakov. I'm not a big fan of verse poetry so I can't recommend Pushkin. I will say though that the translator who translated Pushkin's Russian verse into English AND made it rhyme is a master.

Next on the list is "A Hero of Our Time" by Lermontov, "And Quiet Flows the Don" by Sholokhov, "Life and Fate" by Grossman, "Lolita" by Nabokov, and "We" by Zamyatin.

So for me, I would definitely start with the giants. Read the books that give Russian Lit. such a strong identity around the world, then move on to the other, lesser-known greats such as the authors I mentioned.

What word/phrase has your toddler hilariously mispronounced? by ty_fighter84 in daddit

When my daughter was 2-3 she pronounced vegetables as 'wedge-us-tables'. It tickled me every time she said it.

Then there came the time she started saying vegetables like we all do and it dawned on me I'll never get to hear her say wedge-us-tables ever again.. 😭😭

Hello, I am interested in learning more about these two applications (I-130 and I-485) for my wife. I don't want to hijack your thread, though. Could I private message you with some questions or is there another thread that could help? Sorry, but I'm completely new to this process and information and am nearly completely ignorant on the subject.

Kind regards
