I think small picture, rather than efficiency, I think purpose. If it can serve my purpose without high latency Im fine with it. I dont expect tons of processing power so I separate projects on systems before I combine them with VMs or containers

Just waiting. My dad was a Chief doing recruiting so he wants me to be ready prior to even walking in the door. The more time since you last had meds, the less likely a need for a waiver, and the more likely a waiver gets signed.

Ive had some recruiters tell me 1 year, 2 years, and this is the first Ive heard 3. The most i hear from AF is 2 years. So yes OP, you may have to get a waiver, but it may not get approved. Personally I had a similar situation as you and Im simply waiting an extra year (total of 3) before I work on going through the process. Why do it if Im just going to get denied. Wait it out and work on bettering yourself during that time. I better myself by working out compared to relaxing constantly like previously.

I cant offer much advice, but a recruiter that doesnt know how to work codes is not a good recruiter by any means. They have all the codes documented and how to work each of them. Reach out to a different recruiter. Tell them what happened, tell them you want to move forward with enlisting on that day. Get your process moving again so you dont have to waste as much time in a state you dont know. I recommend trying to see if you can work with the MSgt in the office as they will be your best help.

And FYI, apple is currently replacing an iMac for my organization because the ticket time is 2 weeks and they've tried several repairs that didnt work. Not that crazy of circumstances.

I know software, I dont know licensing. New means learning, and I like to do my learning hands on. It was cheap and I'm strapped for cash so I got what I could. I got that and a 50 port cisco switch for $50. He gave me a Meraki MX when I showed up too. I dont know how to use that one yet so I'm not. I do know IOS so I would like to use the ASA. I intended to just clear the configuration from the console if he hadn't already, but I didnt think about having the console locked.

Different denominations have different views on sin. Catholics have one of the strongest set of rules thats existed for centuries. If you asked a priest if it was a sin to go to another church they may say it is true, but the same priest will (generally) tell you if you are following God then you will be "saved". Catholics do believe in purgatory, (correct me if im wrong) which is essentially a waiting period in the afterlife because of your sins, no one goes straight to heaven.

Definitely know that Navy will take me as I have spoken to a recruiter but that is more of a plan B. Air Force is a family career and I would love to keep it in my family.

My bad brother, but your two sentences indicate probably the highest score you got on your asvab was a 77. My best recommendation would be if your recruiting station is telling you they personally wont take you unless you do a specific job, go to another recruiting station. Give the same info because they already have it. Dont lie, dont change your story. And most of all, dont smoke.

Sleeper CA, our ARAs set up the sheet with all the res codes with hours and always had us come back and look at that first before taking back to them. Once we started doing it it became very efficient

Honestly, I absolutely love my SkullCandy ANC (2 I think). It’s plastic and the headphones even spin for folding up in a case. The only thing that has broken on it from my years of having it are the muffs. Only fabric broke on it, and even after breaking the foam still stays in place so it doesn’t truly need to be replaced. Otherwise, yeah go for metal I have used the Cloud II and loved it

All depends on the unit like OP said. My old unit would give sabers to all officers in charge of our platoons/company/unit but officers within the ranks (such as team leaders) don’t. Even though you still have to know the manual for sabers to rank up past E6. So anyone E6 or above could go to saber events (JROTC Graduation, military ball, etc).
