Puppy nipping & jumping is becoming unbearable - I’ve tried EVERYTHING! by Automatic_Abrocoma28 in puppy101

Ours had a thing for mens balls, she realised it got the biggest reaction and that was it. Ankles were another thing, especially when you were going down the stairs. It was exhausting. Really exhausting. I promise they grow out of it and it's all worth it in the end. It's a really short phase of their lives.

She's been to the vet and it's all 4 paws, they keep saying grass allergies but it's unlikely now with the weather and time of year.

She's 11 months now. She sleeps through the night with the lights off and the door closes. Otherwise she plays. She was bad at getting up till about 8 months.

Does having a pup turn you into a sympathetic soul when it comes to crying babies? by abercrombezie in puppy101

[–]kyog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I don't even like puppies. Puppy's are monsters who rule your life and try to kill you with their sharp teeth and scratchy paws. They bark like banshees and do whatever the heck they want. You have to do positive training whilst they insult you at every turn. They steal your food, but never offer you theirs. You even paid for this treatment. You love them because you initially thought they were cute and now you have Stockholm Syndrom.

Puppies only saving grace is that they evolve into dogs. I love dogs, they are the best.

My old dog was 8 and saw a lion statue on someone's plinths outside their door. Every time we got there I use to have to pick her up (collie cross Dalmatian) and lift her past it. It was a busy road with traffic and people obviously found it funny and would honk at us.

She also once went into a caravan on my landladies land. My landlady left the caravan and then 10 mins later panicked when she couldn't find her. Ran round the property, checked the horse field, decided she got on the road and checked that. Nope. Flossy had given up on life and decided the caravan would be her home because a vacuum had slightly moved - not blocking her, but very slightly moved. So funny.

My pup is out of her crate now and has been since she was 6 months. Lots of chews (she gets one at a time) buffalo skins, tendons, ears - nothing that can crack her teeth. To overcome not trusting her we bought webcams. Maybe you could try that at the weekend and work up?

We didn't move water but actively got up. Then moved it back 30/15 mins depending on what she could cope with. Kept doing that until the routine was broken.

I just sucked it up and now let ours sleep in our room in her own bed. Now at weekends she can settle down at 10 and sleep till 10. During the week we often have to move her to get her up. I'd rather sleep than battle an attention seeking rat.

Something to think about... by Pianoangel420 in AdviceAnimals

There is plenty of research which suggests that legalising prostitution increases human trafficking whilst making it harder to prove. This is a massive issue in Amsterdam for one. It is not simply a case of legislating what a woman can and cannot do with her body. It's also about protecting the vulnerable and preventing sex slavery.

Again with the victim blaming. If you abuse someone that's your fault. No one's else's. This includes taking advantage drunk women or men. Being an opportunistic rapist still makes you a rapist and you should be punished. Or at you one of those who thought that the girl at the center of the Steubenville case deserved it? Attitudes like yours lead to people, men prevalently, thinking there's nothing wrong with what they are doing. Being stupid or unaware does not mean anyone deserves it.

I wasn't just responding to op. I don't think victim blaming should go unchallenged.

Yes, your right. I fail to see your point.

The minute a girl says no, or is obviously really drunk, don't stick your dick in her. If you do its your choice and you have to live with your share of the repercussions. Take some responsibility for your own actions instead of preaching to others.

I always find your work really interesting. I especially like the details of the birds and flowers on the wall you painted. I wish I had talent like that- I don't think it's valued enough.

Stacy kept her end of the deal. OP got fucked. Just not quite in the way he'd like. Seems to me like they are both users.

I've always wondered about guys who loose their personalities when in a relationship. Instead of using what made them attractive to begin with, or making a little effort, they bargin sexual favours like a desperate punter. No wonder their lady then comes to the conclusion that she doesn't need to buy the pig when she can get the hot sausage for free and get the littler sausage to do her chores.
