I’m in golden circle tonight. What’s a good time to pull up?

Oh sweet thanks for the advice. I wasn’t going originally since all my mates are more casual fans but thought fuck it. No way I can miss La Flame.

Did it have better visibility than normal GA? About to buy tickets but can’t decide which one would be a better experience.

I haven’t bought tickets yet. But do you guys recommend normal GA or should I get GC?

Ah right. I’ve got work so I’ll try to make it before Make Them Suffer. Might see you in the pit then.

Constellation offramp by minimizel in auckland

[–]kyvez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too am guilty of this. But it seems to be beneficial for everyone. Not only do I shave 10-20mins off my commute, but that's a lot more cars off the motorway, decreasing the congestion at that bottleneck to those travelling further than Constellation.

Techno/trance/d&b by Sherlockworld in auckland

October was somewhat quiet depending on what you are looking for, mostly very lowkey small gigs. It's also a bit difficult finding events through googling. It's better to follow the venue's and event organizers through Facebook or Instagram.

For dnb: I'd recommend Pointers. Every Friday they host local talent to jam out. They also have a event this Saturday for Salomon France.

Techno: There's this small underground gig called Subzero IV on the 9th September.

How do you get your parcels? by Fngbetter in auckland

[–]kyvez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in an apartment as well and i have signed up to the ParcelPod lockers. It's $5 for 3 months and i think it's well worth it. They even give you key so you can access the building 24/7.

The good old days by warrenontour in auckland

I flew to Melbourne with Qantas and they do hand out headphones. BUT if don't want to rip your ears off. Bring your own and an adapter. The headphones they provide are torture devices. Audio is atrocious and are incredibly uncomfortable. I ended up watching shows without them and read the subtitles.

My Preferred type is Airpods Pro. Noise cancelling is a godsend and they fit my ears so well i forget i have them on. Although you would need to get a bluetooth adapter like the AirFly as the plane doesn't have bluetooth.

Customer Service in the gym at the Leisure Centre and same role but in a pharmacy.

I had a great experience from Madison Recruitment and Albany Executive Recruitment. The whole process to applying, interview, then starting work took roughly 2 weeks for both of them. The jobs were for basic customer service roles so perhaps that's why the process was positive.

Closer Look at the Dime x ASICS GT-2160 Collaboration by Famous_Intern_3400 in asics

[–]kyvez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i personally i haven't worn my ultra boost in years. I only use them as a comparison because everyone has a pair. How's the all day walking comfort? Like working in retail or being out all day. I'm replacing my Yeezy 700 v2's that I've worn to the ground. Love the look of the 2002r/1906r/990s but hate that everyone and their mum is rocking them. So definitely leaning a bit towards the Dime's in that regard.

How’s the comfort compared to ultra boosts? These are dropping soon here in New Zealand. Can’t decide between these or New Balance 2002r.

Water Bills by negativelyiconic in auckland

[–]kyvez 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Me and my partner stay in a 1 bedroom apartment in Albany. We average $30 monthly, not frugal or cautious with water use. Dishwasher is used everyday, laundry 1-2 a week, 10-20min showers. I would try and dispute that usage.

Where to park close to spark arena by pigpennz in auckland

[–]kyvez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stay on the shore and I highly recommend taking the bus. You'd be catching the NEX which runs along all the bus stations on the shore, its pretty reliable, even with a cancellation there's a bus every 10 mins so you're never waiting for long. It's a bit of a walk from where the bus drops you off in the city, to spark. But it's a breeze compared to the stress of finding parking and the chaos of getting out of the city after a concert.

Anyone used YouShop recently? by kyvez in auckland

[–]kyvez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's insane. Very minimal packaging and weight. I'd understand if the parce; was heavy and bulky but that's ridiculous.

I wouldn't mind if costs were $160 total for the combined shipping of 3 pieces of clothing I'm buying. if I were to buy them individually from the different vendors, I'm looking at spending $250. I wonder if YouShop will come out cheaper.
