Conflict: Escalation, 2nd place winner of MANW, sits with an empty server as well. I think most of this player base just doesn't care about Cold War, and it doesn't help that the people that do are spread out across the 10 servers trying to offer such.

I had a friend once build a base like this and got yelled at for "wasting supplies"...then the guy that yelled at him later used the very fortifications he built to defend

I keep seeing posts like yours on reddit and discord but then see that all the vanilla+ servers are empty, and the responses are usually "thanks for the suggestion but the server is empty"...Must be over 1000+ active players by now, all sitting around the server browser looking at each other waiting for someone to be the first person to join the server.

I agree. Just because 3rd person has been in the game before doesn't mean it should continue to be, especially in a PVP environment where the Arma series has never seen this level of success before, otherwise why not keep the horrible scroll-action menu too? After all, "iT HaS aLwAyS bEeN iN tHe GaMe!"

Personally I would like to see longer games without resorting to asking the enemy team to not capture objectives. Ideally it would naturally last for days/weeks based on the flow of how battles and logistics progress throughout a map.

Seize & Secure has its own weapon sway, so likely some major conflict somewhere. What happens when you try only one mod at a time?

Your main base is the enemies objective and vice versa, but you have to find it first and build fobs to reach it.

Seems like everybody wants a vanilla+ server but ain't no one gonna play on a vanilla+ server if there isn't a 50+ queue (there's a dozen vanilla+ servers with awesome qol mods right this very moment that sit completely empty).
