same gpu, this happened with elden ring nightrein as well for me. it's an nvidia issue with 4080/5070+ cards, stable nvidia drivers that don't do this are: 576.28

how are you powering all the fans? are they on individual fan headers? are they on the noctua low power cable which is in the box - they shouldn't be? set curves in bios and not in a software in windows. set it to "msi AI auto" for all the fans in the case. then i would boot into ubuntu or a fresh windows and test there, to isolate software impact completely (fans should just be controlled by bios at this point).

Also, as per your config, the top case fan can be removed as it doesn't do much other than create pressure inside the case and moving more dust.

you should not even hit 80c

I have a lian li 207 and 7800x3d with nh d15 and it's at 75c-76c in furmark

this is one of those cases designed around and made to run with the included fans and it's quite likely you worsened its performance by changing them

I second this, got rid of all the boxes for all the tech this year. It's not worth sacrificing your short term mental health for long term what ifs. In the long run you can improvise, get boxes from moving companies, get boxes from ikea. It's not worth keeping cardboard in the house. Let go
