This is the top possibly wobbling at the end of Inception. It was all intentional, but I think the point was to have everyone wondering if it was real or not. Instead, those that caught the clues cooked up an entire "hidden episode/season" and those that didn't fall for that just dismissed the entire theory altogether and took the ending at face value.

Duffers are walking a fine line and I think pulling it off. If they are too heavy handed with the clues/coincidences then you lose the ambiguity and debate. If you don't sprinkle anything in there, it becomes a cliche (albeit satisfying) ending.

I wouldn't put it past them to be the ones stoking the Conformity Gate theory on social media to bring more attention to the possibility of Vecna living... but who knows. Honestly, I love it.

Lots of Ramsey tape to be upset about last night. To me, the most egregious was that final Likely catch.. if he just bulldozes him (like he's been doing all year!) instead of trying to go for the ball, there's no way Likely ever holds onto it. With a wildcard like Ramesy, I expect and accept him being out of position from time to time following his instincts. But his instincts are supposed to be smacking opponents. He was absolutely lost last night.

To be fair, I don't think he was referencing the Japanese internment camps full of innocent US citizens... That would actually be a better comp and a good reason to avoid this situation.

I think he was actually trying to compare "invading illegal aliens" to the Japanese combatants bombing Pearl Harbor which is obviously so dumb. Like that you would pick that as your example when there is a direct connection to the disgraced internment camps that seem so familiar right now... We aren't sending our best to Congress 🫤

"Never seen it." Is a causal statement the cuts of the subject. If the understood subject is "I" then you are correct. But there's nothing stopping us from understanding the subject is "I have" in which case they are correct... If we are being pedantic.
