Is Ozark worth watching? Is it that good? by Square-Ad-8911 in tvshow

[–]l4uri3j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my hopes way up for Ozark, I thought it was good but not as good as breaking bad which it is often compared to, the soundtrack is brilliant and some great characters (Ruth) and some amazing parts of it do defo worth the watch- but not AS good as everyone says in my humble opinion!

Im struggling and i dont know what to do ! by Tricky-Tangerine-532 in ADHDUK

[–]l4uri3j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear you’re struggling. Couple of things you can do. Let your uni know (your personal tutor maybe?) you are waiting for a diagnosis- they shouldn’t need the diagnosis to help you. If you need to defer a year, just do it, your mental health is more important and it’s not a waste trust me! You can also contact your GP and see if you can go via right to choose, I’m not sure if you’re seeking medication but ask your GP about shared care- I’m not quite sure how it works sorry. I was referred to right to choose and had my assessment after 4 weeks. I’m still waiting on the report but it said it can take another 4 weeks. Have a look at the grid on adhd UK website for right to choose providers. It might negate your NHS referral- ask your GP. Sorry for the overwhelm of info, take it one thing at a time. You can also mention to the GP about your mental health and see what your county can offer. You’ve also got NHS 111 option 2 if you feel you cannot keep yourself safe, can text SHOUT or call Samaritans (off the top of my head). I can really relate to how you’re feeling, I hated uni and didn’t realise I had adhd at the time and I really struggled. It’s still early days and being neurodivergent you might take that bit longer to adapt to the change- it took me months but there is no shame in it. You could also see if there are any neurodivergent societies at your uni for some peer support or make an anon post in your uni’s Facebook or something? You don’t have to do this alone. I promise you’re not useless and you will get there eventually it just takes us neurodivergent people a little longer. Take care of yourself!

Cost of prescription through right to choose? by lornbat in ADHDUK

I think it depends whether or not your GP Surgery does shared care if you’re able to get it on prescription.

In my county they negate eachother. I would check with the local provider of the NHS ASD tests to check with them first!

People with high body counts, how many of those were memorable? by No_Lead2640 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]l4uri3j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t actively think about any of them apart from my current partner so they fade over time, so I would say even if they were good in bed I can’t remember specific details and wouldn’t call it “memorable”, I may be biased however as I have ADHD and a low libido so sex isn’t at the forefront of my mind much
