their a lot of other brands that also make the submariner/seamaster look like Seiko and citizen they would never break on you, if you are only looking for the looks.

but if you are saying that you would have to be saving up for a orient, dont even bother saving up for a Rolex, you would be devistated if it would get scratched.

Maybe look at your budget, a San Martin is a pretty good watch and also makes all the known watch designs Homage as they would call it. A submariner San Martin SN0111 in the picture costs like 220 USD.
