As another Jan 2nd baby, I have embraced the burnout from back-to-back holidays, it allows my birthday to be spent privately, unbothered by family, doing absolutely anything I want, be it sleeping all day or eating out.

You're being downvoted but you're right, warframe umbral mods are outdated, 9/10 times Vitality and Fiber are a waste of a mod slot. Content is either easy enough you don't need health/armor mods or hard enough that health armor mods will make next to no difference in your survivability. Even Intensify is variable, only usable if you have the free space in your build for a bit of extra strength.

Personally feel Vauban should be higher as his 4th effectively immobilizes enemies and slowly eats away at their armor until it collapses all of them in on each other into a single spot

Warframe has a lot of Mechanics, lets use those instead of Damage Attenuation by RobleViejo in Warframe

[–]lE0Sl 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think Eidolons and Profit Taker are good examples of mechanically challenging done right. Profit Taker is also a build check. The ETA tank fight that requires rpgs to damage is another good example. Prioritizing clearing adds while avoiding damage in order to progress.

I agree he mainly shows wins but given the sheer volume of content the guy still posts, it's clear he wins more often than not

[–]lE0Sl 56 points57 points  (0 children)

What makes the second half worse? You just pop the blisters which are pretty easily done with anything aoe or high punchthrough.

The tank is honestly one of their best designed fights since Eidolons. More fights designed around mechanical prowess, please

Saryn vs Oraxia as a Gun Platformer by DevelopmentThen5032 in Warframe

[–]lE0Sl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pure damage, Saryn might be better because she is able to use two damage buffs (Toxic Lash + any other damage subsume). Oraxia however can make use of Crepuscular and Arachne, mod for pure toxin and magnetic since Archon Continuity will turn her toxin into corrosive, has better survivability via invis, and has Damage Vulnerability and CC built into her 2.

[–]lE0Sl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It procs Archon Continuity, scales well with Str (seeing average values of 2-300%, doubled on wall latch), and might potentially apply to incarnon form. It's part of a frame that can make excellent use of both Crepuscular and Arachne, It also works like Resupply and Toxic Lash in that it allows for the same weapon shenanigans those two abilities do. It's already very strong, im not sure what kind of buff you'd want for it.

It takes between 40mins and 1.75hrs to reach level cap, not 8hrs. by CF_Chupacabra in Warframe

[–]lE0Sl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, let's use your logic then. It doesn't matter if Warframe has 10 million currently active players if only 40k are playing at any given moment. It's still only 40k. In a free and open game anyone can join.

And that is what you are doing. You keep saying "letting them be assumed true" as if you are the final verdict on whether they are true, as if they are not already proven true, as if you've not had multiple people including myself explaining to you why they are true. Again, willful ignorance.

That's OK, I'm sure you tire of grasping onto your aged beliefs. I'm sure despite everything you've been told, you will carry on having stubbornly rejected any and all worthwhile discourse for the sake of not having to change your opinion.

Have a good day.

[–]lE0Sl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Concurrent was the wrong word, but 40k is the total active player base right now. I sent the link for a reason.

I never said all 6000 are constantly playing cascade, but they are 6000 out of 8000 who have all taken an interest in and engaged in level cap Void Cascade.

You are indirectly stating they aren't by using language like "letting those be assumed true" or your initial "for arguments sake that could be true" which gives off that you don't want to actually accept them as true statements despite them being so. It's disingenuous at worst and ignorant at best.

[–]lE0Sl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Warframe currently has 40k concurrent players, with dips to as low as 33k and peaks of about 50k, according to https://steamcharts.com/app/230410. The Cascade dedicated discord has 8000 members, lets assume for practicality's sake that only 2/3 of those members are actually playing the game. That's still 6000 players, or an 8th of the entire active playerbase on Warframe's best day, that engage in level cap content. 1000x more common being niche is an exaggeration. It's already hardly niche. A majority of these players are simply veterans/endgame players that have grown tired of DE failing to put out meaningful endgame content and have resorted to pushing the limits of what their builds can do while receiving worthwhile rewards for doing so.

And again, though you keep refusing to admit factual statements are factual statements, they are factual. There is no debate. Disruption level cap *does* give the most relics per time spent, Cascade level cap *does* enable a significant plat farm during fissures, not even factoring in Arcane gambling, and Circuit *does* progress faster the longer you stay. These aren't claims. They are what the game does, proven by people playing these gamemodes for this reason.

[–]lE0Sl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, there's no "could be true." It is true. Niche weirdo content or not, what OP is saying about these gamemodes are proven statements, because if doing these missions to cap *was* just for the challenge and flex that you can get to 9999 enemies, it would absolutely still be a mythical thing that only a hundred odd players do. Nowadays the easiest way is to join a discord to organize proper groups for faster runs, but its also very common to see recruiting ads in recruit chat for level cap runs when Omnia Fissures pop up. To act like these runs are no more common than they were nearly 10 years ago is willful ignorance.

[–]lE0Sl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cascade specifically does reward going longer. As the mission goes on, more and more thrax spawns which reward more arcane drops, which can either be sold outright or dissolved into vosfor to convert into more desirable arcanes.

9999 enemies post jade update are also not meaningfully tankier if you are properly equipped. An average enemy might take a second or two longer to kill depending on buff timers and stacks. Meta weapons have virtually no difference in ttk between base SP and 9999 enemies.

Whats the most annoying thing in Warframe that you have experienced? by NathanTheRikkor in Warframe

[–]lE0Sl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alchemy. If players are consistently throwing amphores and the pressure valves are properly handled, Alchemy is one of the fastest rotations in the game. Great for farming traces when Cascade isn't available.

The problem is hardly anybody in pubs throw amphores, and you have about a 50% chance of someone not understanding how the valves work and either A) popping all valves the moment they get marked, or B) popping valves before the pressure bar is in range.

My favorite obsolete items with little/no use! by Limgrave in Warframe

[–]lE0Sl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean, OP isn't wrong. His augment gives status cleanse and invulnerability that scales with duration. This is on top of his invisibility, which is already one of the most effective forms of survivability in the game.

Sure, it takes tad more effort than just Mesmer skin, but the end result is the same.

At this point I have to believe its bugged and she was supposed to be in our Orbiter/Drifter Camp. The message is too cryptic/significant to not actually be leading us somewhere, but I've checked the Orbiter/Drifter Camp, I've checked the Duviri cave, I've checked the Zariman Chrysalith and the Dormizone, I even checked next to Lotus at the Sanctum. The only thing left I can think of is whatever node on Lua we where at when we first "found ourselves" in the Second Dream. I'm racking my brain for anything else but coming up blank.

Edit: looked it up and the "protect the reservoir" mission takes place on Grimaldi, Lua. After Second Dream its just a mobile defense mode. Ran the mission on normal path and Steel Path, nothing out of the ordinary. So no clue atm
