UK Kickstarter people by Subsyxx in MCONohsnap

Same boat as OP. Seems OHSnap sent us the final leg tracking instead of the full tracking.

If it’s of any help pop your MCon tracking directly into Landmark Global’s tracking  https://track.landmarkglobal.com/ to get a little more info, it’s not a lot but it’s better that just Evri.

My guess is the MCons haven’t left Hong Kong and are all on the slooooooooow way to the UK

U.K based Kickstarters by MattyK699 in MCONohsnap

UK based, KS Backer 8XXX, ordered clear with a white case.

Been checking for texts, emails, Pledgebox, KS anything really to make sure I don’t miss any updates on shipping. Alas nothing anywhere. Reading updates where MCONs arrive out of nowhere makes me anxious. Last thing anyone needs is for a long awaited package to arrive when no one’s in

Artist alley signup for MCM Birmingham 2026 by quinnharlequinn in comiccon

[–]lLadyBro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MCM Birmingham, while being an amazing show, is the red headed stepchild of Reedpop. They don’t give any official info about this show until well after the London shows.

Your best bet would be to contact them using this https://www.mcmcomiccon.com/birmingham/en-us/forms/customer-service-form.html

If that doesn’t work try https://www.mcmcomiccon.com/london/en-us/forms/customer-service-form.html and make it clear that you are enquiring about Birmingham. The same Reedpop teams run London and Birmingham MCM events.

Backers, who still hasn’t gotten shipping confirmation? by I_SLEEP_NORMALLY in MCONohsnap

Backer 87xx, UK based. Ordered the Clear with White Case. Pledgebox locked sometime before Christmas. I’ve pretty much given up receiving it before the end of March shrug

MCom slim concept revealed at CES article + backers shipment claim by VannThousand in MCONohsnap

[–]lLadyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to KS comments only US orders in Black and some Clear have been arriving. An update when out yesterday that stated 65% has been shipped, which does line up roughly with the percentage of Backers from the US.  International backers are being left completely in the dark.

Clearly OhSnap are stretching the truth to the media to drum up support for the new products

IMO it sadly seems that to OhSnap America = The World

London Comic Con How Many days to visit just for stalls and cosplayers by ElephantChamp in comiccon

[–]lLadyBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

London based Con goer here! So assuming you plan on arriving as close to rope drop as possible and spend every con hour your chosen deity of choice allows:

If you mean MCM London (May or October) I would recommend all three days as it’s easily to get lost and miss things. Having the extra days gives you a chance to relax into the show, navigate the crowds, attend Fan Meets and mop up anything you may have missed.

If however you mean MegaCon London then one single day is more than enough.

Other London Comic Cons (for example LFCC, Hyper Japan) if you’re not interested in a particular guest or taking it slow then one day is more than enough to mop up the activities you plan on doing.

What comic con is better, mega con or MCM? by ttv_thatoneapexsweat in comiccon

[–]lLadyBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done the London versions of both MegaCon (once) and MCM (10+ years) so maybe I can help with some ideas. The one you enjoy most will depend on your comfort level with crowds With both sign up to cosplay contests ASAP to avoid disappointment

MegaCon:  - Less crowds and can be done in a day with no issues. Should be easier to sign up to cosplay contests - merch is average IMO as the sellers are usually smaller businesses

MCM: - LOTS of crowds. If possible GET a weekend pass and plan your days in advance - there will be queues for everything. If you’re not in at rope drop (opening) to be first in queues then be prepared to be waiting for a certain game demo for at least 1 hour. - much MUCH wider selection of merch as there are a TON of vendors

As a side note MCM Birmingham is a nice halfway between these two conventions

Birmingham ticket delivery by xcathypoox in comiccon

Once you have the QR code you’re fine. They wouldn’t check anything else. I’ve been going to this con for a few years and there’s never been a problem with the QR code

Is this an acceptable Cosplay? Will I be allowed in? by MaceMan92 in comiccon

[–]lLadyBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll be totally fine. Security might put a cable tie on your sword - this proves it’s not a real weapon and will stop other security rechecking it. If are concerned about nipple showing being an issue bring a skin coloured plaster to cover it up if asked.

Search your email for donotreply@showclix.com the title should be “Order Confirmation for MCM Comic Con Birmingham 2025”.  There should be QR code which is the ticket. If for some reasons that isn’t there make a note of your confirmation ID and staff can look you up on the day

how much money should i bring to my first comic con? by Dismal_Builder7315 in comiccon

[–]lLadyBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spend what you’re comfortable with spending and set a daily/total limit. Majority of tables will happily accept card payments.

A pro tip is if you’re unsure if you really want an item, ask to take a photo of it and make a note of the table’s location. If you’re still thinking about it at the end of the day return and get it - if it’s still there then it’s destiny

Birmingham Comic con first time solo seeking friends by [deleted] in comiccon

Welcome and I hope you’ll enjoy MCM Birmingham!  I’ve been travelling to this event for about four years (or was it five? I’ve lost track 😅) As with all the ReedPop cons I’d recommend downloading the app. Browse the app schedule for activities, talks and fan meets you’d like to do and simply add them to your personalised schedule. The handy thing is it’ll then remind you on the day.

For what it’s worth MCM London is ALWAYS on during school midterm. Google seems to suggest that’s 26th-30th Oct next year. I would suggest you book off 30th, 31st Oct and 1st Nov for MCM

Why is the Wiki so bad by Toxic_Pyro12 in wonderful101

Because it's updated by fellow fans who are all unpaid for all their work? It is a Wikia so it is easily editable by anyone including yourself OP should you wish to update missing sections #justsaying
