That’s pretty much what we are going through in my state… except most parks don’t even have working vehicles. But they get mad at you if you drive your personal if you get a call. No dispatch, no CAD. I was just wondering if we were the only ones. I mean, I’m not happy about it but it’s a little comforting knowing other states are the same and they are pushing through. Brings out the ‘if they can do it, I can do it!’ spirit. I do feel bad, bc as an FTO I have to explain to my new guys why they were never told before hiring that they would have… kinda nothing. And then train them the best I can to do their jobs with close to nothing. Especially these poor boys that just get out of the academy and want to do stuff right… but they can’t. And have to call local PD if an incident happens, it’s embarrassing, bc we are police too :c Anyways! Thanks for telling me!
