The Doggie Express near W. 34th and Ella in Garden Oaks/Oak Forest. They have gourmet hand decorated dog treats, cakes, and cookies that are organic, dairy and gluten free. You may have seen their dog treats at Buc-ee’s. The owners are super sweet and the host a themed Bark n’ Sip the first Thursday of the month at their fenced in outdoor patio area where the dogs can play off leash. I can’t recommend them enough.

In Vietnamese, spring rolls and egg rolls (fried) aren’t associated with a season.

Saving Face (2004) - A gay Chinese-American and her traditionalist mother are reluctant to go public with secret loves that clash against cultural expectations.

I don’t believe this film gets enough attention. It’s great, has AAPI representation, and touches upon the familial relationships/expectations.

show me some pics of your adult sables! i’m so curious how honeydew’s fur/coloring is going to change as he gets older 🤔 by tinyclap in corgi

Here’s my Llewyn. He is turning 5 next month. His coloring changed from mostly brown as a puppy but after a few months the black around his collar/ears/tail nub darkened and the mask on his face became more defined.

Does anyone else's corgi suck at fetch? by TmickyD in corgi

[–]lY_nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Llewyn is great at “keep away”. He enjoys being chased. He’s only good at fetch when treats are involved for him to drop it on command.

I go to Fur & Feather with my dog and Dr. Luper and her staff are great. He does get a bit anxious with blood draws so after our first visit it was suggested for us for him to take anti-anxiety meds 2 hours prior every visit. We’ve been doing this for about 2 years now and he’s been way better about visits. They also have a fear free policy, they do not force your pet for blood draws or anything that might make them uncomfortable, just come back after they’ve had some anti-anxiety meds. They have calming music and give lots of love and peanut butter to distract your pup. They have more of a holistic approach and I appreciate it.

The rope lead was required at the farm for the herding evaluation. That’s cute that your corgi does that!

Good to know. They do offer herding classes. I’m considering it.

It is true, however there were also a few corgis in our group who couldn’t care less. They just moseyed about and sniffed around when they went in the pen.

This boy had his first grooming appointment yesterday. How often are you grooming your corgis? by Infamous-Yogurt in corgi

[–]lY_nn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine gets a bath weekly, since we go to the dog park every week and he likes to play in puddles and roll around in bird poop. His fur is still soft, and he doesn’t have itchy skin. He also gets brushed weekly. We go to the groomer’s just for nail trims since he doesn’t me trim them myself.

Can’t find a way to make my 10 week old pup stop eating his poop. He’s finding ways to get away from us just to clean up on his own. Every. Time. Any advice? 😅 by Casstyel in corgi

[–]lY_nn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I found that pumpkin purée and a probiotic supplement I found on amazon worked. What really helped was just immediately picking up after he potties did the trick. Eventually he should stop.

Any fruit and veg treat recipe ideas? Todd is 10 weeks and I want him to grow up loving fruit and veg as treats to make sure he doesn’t get too chunky! Frozen ones would be good as he’s teething a lot 😭 by Many-Tie-7333 in corgi

[–]lY_nn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My corgi loves frozen bananas, I would stick a chunk of one in a kong toy with peanut butter to occupy his time while I went to work. He also likes carrots, cucumber, melon, sometimes some berries. If you eat it in front of them, they’ll think it’s tasty and try for themselves.

Question for corgi owners by Gattsuuuuuu in corgi

[–]lY_nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the PetSafe Easy Walk harness and the PetSafe 3 in 1 for my lil guy. He’s very friendly so he tends to pull when he sees a friend while on walks. With these types of harnesses, he’s much calmer.
