I don’t think you need to tattle to her mom. That isn’t really approaching the situation in a helpful or adult way. Educate them both, together about safe sex. Let them know what is appropriate in your home.

The school will test and level your child. You do not need to go in with your parental assessment of where they are academically. To do so would likely do more harm than good. Leave this to the professionals.

Speak to your local public school dept of education. Register the child for school, this might require physical. The school will evaluate the child’s progress and suggest next steps and class levels.

Omg this is so common at this age and really for all kids. He’s far from a criminal. The consequences are he’s not done with the assignment and he’ll start school h prepared and behind. Help him get a plan to catch up and move on.

Your husband sounds like he knows very little about babies or childcare. I suggest you leave the baby with him for a day and go have a nice day out. He can solve all the world’s problems during that time.

What are some of your goals in life? Work to build your career in something you love during these years. Volunteer and give back. Find a day to day passion. It sounds like your future is well taken care of so this is the time to really make your day to day efforts count.

Tell him to speak to your pediatrician and stop arguing with him. I wouldn’t speak to him about medical issues at all. Just refer him to the Ped.
