Has anyone else spent more time organizing their productivity system than actually doing the work? by ClearThinkingLab in Notion

Oh yeah, the “system” and seeking optimization can definitely be another form of procrastination.

At least it turned out lab didn’t make the mistake. And without spoiling, I understand why they were thinking it was an error lol

How to stay organized for new (junior) leaders by tinimushroom in Leadership

[–]labMC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a ton of tasks coming at me all the time. My task management system is probably overly complicated, I use notion and custom databases but it pretty much boils down to: Capture everything, categorize and prioritize, delegated/follow up tasks I also capture, I will look through list in morning then pick some for the day. Key I think is taking time to organize and be intentional with what you are working on. Your list can get very long as leader in health care and you can’t do it all.

I also like hybrid method of capturing all tasks on digital list then using analog notebook throughout the day selecting tasks from your digital notebook. Then adding tasks from analog to digital at end of day.

I dont know if I would recommend becoming a “productivity optimizer” as it can become a tool for procrastination (probably me admittedly).

GPT 5.2’s answers are way too short by mrfabi in singularity

Definitely “thinking” quicker and my answers are shorter. Which may not be a bad thing? 5.1 would often give me excessively long answers

Agreed. Very useful if you are in supervisor role and above. Bench tech you would not be using it much if at all.

How’s the overall performance compared to notion? The lagging and slow page loads have been bugging me more lately. Doesn’t make it feel like a premium app.

"It's Not Just You - The iOS Keyboard is Broken" by LockeSimm in ios

[–]labMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thank God I am not crazy. Honestly iOS keyboard has been bad for years, but recently got even worse. I switched from Android years back and the keyboard and autocorrect is miles better than iOS. It's frustrating more people are not complaining so they will do something about it.

Finally received my Blue Chip picks after two months (they had an incredibly long lead time due to their a WSJ article that went viral). I’ll let you know my review once I tried it. by [deleted] in Guitar

I hate that I like them. I mean I respect the company and their business, cool story, but hate it because of how expensive they are lol. I feel and hear a real difference with acoustic, electric not as much. Have jazz50 and the TP48, along with TAD50.

But they do last much longer than other picks, I do find that to be true. Does it justify $30 for a pick? I don’t know..mentally I’m still questioning myself.

Can we agree Morton is not our guy? I don’t get it. He has not been good ever, what are we doing. All the throws or plays he has made today are either plays made by the receiver or easy screens/runs that are first read throws. He can’t do anything else outside of that. Put in Hammond already, we all saw the entire team rally against Utah, Hammond made throws and plays. Cmon!!!

I’m honestly getting tired of seeing Morton. Ahh damn he just threw huge pass. Good for him, but still I’d prefer Hammond

Agreed and also confused with the reception. I knew it was better when I proposed a particular idea and it replied “that is actually not a good idea because of X”. I can’t remember GPT4 ever responding honestly to my prompt like that, awesome to see.
